The property starts with a beautiful drive through trees. Each cabin is secluded and our cabin was lovely.
We were across from the rec room and the pool. We played a game of pool in the rec room and took a swim. We were unsure of the pool hours, but we still enjoyed our time.
We were so glad that we went this route instead of a hotel. The quiet environment, the woodsy atmosphere, and the walking trails were all a definite plus for us. We would recommend this place to anyone.
Paul and Niki were the perfect hosts at the campsite. They made you feel comfortable like you’ve known them forever.
The grounds were well kept and all the activities were even better than presented in the discriptopn of the property.
We enjoyed swimming in the pristine pool and fishing where a 12 inch bass was caught and released. (and many others). There was also the petting zoo, recreation room for playing pool, darts and ping pong, hiking and cooking out. The days were very busy and fun!
It was a most excellent holiday. We will be back again and again!

This place was amazing! The cabin was exactly how it was pictured online and was exceptionally clean. The game room and pool were huge perks along with the lake and paddles boards! The pool was our favorite and it was nicely shaded. Far enough off the beaten path the we could relax on the porch of the cabin and not hear any traffic but close enough to restaurants. Above all the owners were so kind, sweet and overly accommodating to my family. We will absolutely be back again!!!
Our VRBO was AMAZING … it was clean, nice and warm and very convenient. The only thing I would recommend is to have a couple cups in there or plastic cups, and maybe soap, as we did not come that prepared! But we managed just fine.
Very beautiful and good location if you're looking for seclusion. The manager Paul was very welcoming and quickly replied to questions. A lot of outdoor activities such as hiking trails and swimming. Only stayed one night, would have done more. The cabin I had although only limited you to microwave and grilling. So bring supplies, and indoor entertainment such as game boards or books. But there are pool tables and other entertainment in main lodge with swimming pool. Very beautiful place will definitely plan a longer stay sometime!
My family and I stayed in a cabin here for four nights. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and courteous. The ranch is beautiful. We loved swimming and fishing and hanging out at the lake and exploring the property.

Each little tiny cabin, was a great distance from each individual cabin. beautiful settings surrounded by trees in north Texas. Wonderful property, great communication and services with the host.
Absolutely a perfect location to get away from it all and relax in the country. Close to Vineyards and home (only 40 minutes from north Dallas). I would highly recommend and we will be back again.
There was plenty to do to include fishing, walking trails, renting a golf cart to ride around the property with, or going the rec room to play pool or cook out. It was a really nice place, very peaceful and quiet. It felt like the cabins we're tucked away and everything is kept up with and clean. They also mentioned adding a pool by the rec room. The rec room is located in the middle with the cabins spread out through the property.
Absolutely adored our stay over the weekend getaway in this little cabin. Had no idea how beautiful the property was! We walked the trails, pretty sure all 6 miles of them, and it was stunning. Love how spaced out the cabins are from one another! Each one is set back a little into the trees and really made it feel like a cabin in the woods.
Love, love, love this property! What an experience. Even though we spent only our mornings and sleeping hours here, the beauty, seclusion and quiet was exactly what my sister and I needed for reflection and rest after visiting with our dad and family. The trails for our morning hikes were stunning and we even made a friend, Tiva, the resident Australian shepherd, that walked the entire 2 miles with us. Sadly, we didn’t get to visit much with Paul due to our commitments with family, we are definitely coming back and getting to know Paul and crew better! Looking forward to our next trip to TX in the Fall 2021!
The host was more than gracious and the property was absolutely pristine and quiet.
There were a few bugs in our cabin but that is completely expected given that we were on a 100+ acre property... no real issues or concerns and would recommend this to anyone I know
My friend and I wanted someplace to take our girls ( ages 7 & 8 ) that was close to Dallas, but felt like we were near Austin / Wimberley. We found the place! The ranch is a great little escape, with well-maintained walking trails that are right outside the cabins. Paul provides golf carts to get around which was a hit with our girls and made it really easy to zip to and from the lake . We drove around to one of the many open fields and walked along the creek that runs through the property. There are bridges to cross and lots of areas to explore with the kids. We saw lots of birds on the trails and even a large, beautiful snake crossing the trail at one point. The lake was a wonderful place to take a couple of lawn chairs and a blanket and chill the day away. The tiny house we all stayed in was super cute and very clean. The upstairs loft had a king mattress that was very comfy and we also appreciated that the kitchen had a decent size fridge/freezer. The cabins don't have their own fire pits, but it's not a problem because every night we were there ,Paul built us an amazing fire so the girls could make Smores. He was a great host and we appreciated him lending us his sweet dog, "Tibba". She hung out with us from sun up until sun down and we just loved her company. I can't wait to come here with a couple of girlfriends to just chill but also to bring back our kiddos another time, they can't stop talking about how much fun they had. Thanks for an amazing stay Paul, we appreciate your hospitality!
