About this property

Our beautiful home sits on a cliff 80 feet above the shoreline. At low tide there are many rocks and a large beach. But even at high tide Pelican Rock stands above the water. There is no direct access to the beach from the house but it is only 9 tenths of a mile to Sport Heaven Beach, about a 20 minute walk or a short drive. Sport Heaven Beach has miles of sandy beach and there are many other beautiful beaches in the area. The house is 4 miles from the center of Brookings and 1 mile to the Harbor. At the harbor there are great restaurants, fishing charters and a great boardwalk overlooking the boats.
Come and enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets.
We have lived in Brookings for three years now and love it year round. We live in our home just 4 miles away with our three small dogs. We hope to see you soon.
Please no trailers. Our driveway does not allow for turning around a trailer.
There is a video camera above the garage door that monitors the driveway.
Please stay off the neighbors property and stairs to the beach

Perfect Ocean Cottage Hideaway

This property is a little slice of peaceful heaven. There’s nothing quite like drinking your morning coffee in the backyard with the ocean waves crashing in below you. The dogs enjoyed lying in the sun in the backyard and all the dog-friendly hiking recommendations. We are getting back on the road with two very tired, happy pups! This unique property is a perfect little hideaway and the owner couldn’t have been kinder.

Brookings charmer did not disappoint

My family and I loved our stay at this charming Brookings home with beach views. It was perfect for our family of four and small dog. John was a great host. His communication was excellent. The home was clean and had everything we needed. We will be back.

OMG out of this world

I can not say enough good things about the house, the location and the owner. It was one of our best trips with our dogs. The house is spotless, the location is walkable to beach/restaurants and shopping. We are already choosing our dates to return!

Beach Get away

We had the best time in Brookings. We loved the house. Perfect location, and the views of the ocean are spectacular. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the living room was a great place to relax. We really enjoyed sitting at the firepit in the evening. It is one of the best dog friendly rentals ever! The owner was super helpful and responsive. He gave us great recommendations for dining out and even directed us to several fishing spots. We look forward to coming back!
