Good

Overall great location fun little cabin. Biggest complaint is you can hear everything that goes on in the cabin no matter where you’re at. Especially the upstairs bedroom. Maintenance was good had to call them about an electrical issue (nothing too major) late at night and the guy came out there the next day and fixed it. Lots of games to play at the cabin overall good experience

A great location for birders

Stayed a week. Loved the mornings on the back porch. One morning, identified 9 species of birds in 20 minutes. Loved the location: 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge/Sevierville in one direction and 15 minutes to Wears Valley in another. House was clean, beds comfortable, and kitchen dishes/pans more than adequate. Did not use hot tub or grill. Only drawback is “connectivity.” WiFi is slowww and there’s virtually no cell service. Highly recommend taking a screenshot of entry information and WiFi login prior to arriving on the property.

Wouldn’t go back…

We stayed here for 6 nights. When we arrived to TN, we asked to check in a hour and a half early. They advised it would be $25. We asked if it was less than a hour and it remained $25. We spent over $2k to stay here and they wouldn’t let us in early. The place itself needs lots of work and cleaning. The cleaner should be fired! My kids went to sleep on the pull out couch the first night and the sheets from the family before us were still on there. Cheez it crumbs and cheese stick wrappers all in the sheets. So gross! Outlets in the home are not functional. A few have sunken into the walls. Blinds upstairs are so dusty and gross… pieces of the blinds missing and a few windows without blinds at all! The lower bathroom has black mold everywhere. No spoons at all in the kitchen. We had maintenance come out because a few of the railing boards were loose and we worried about our smaller children falling when they moved side to side. I don’t think the “care” is there in this ownership. Just felt dirty. We are not high maintenance people but when you spend a lot of money to enjoy vacation, it’s a tough pill to swallow not feeling it was worth it. We love TN, just wouldn’t stay here again. In the photo, the whole wrap around porch is open. When you get to the property, part is now enclosed. The view is nice but many trees are blocking. Overall, this was not worth the money we spent and we are a bit disappointed.

Perfect location

The location was perfect!! Close to everything. The space was good. Perfect for 3 people. The entertainment was great!! My husband really enjoyed the arcade game. The hot tub was clean and ready. The deck was wonderful. We had a few rainy mornings, and could still sit outside with our coffee. There were a few things that could be improved. There is a tree and some brush between the deck and the yard. In the brush was a lot of poison ivy. Our dogs kept wanting to go through it to get to the yard. Also, the grill was dirty, and wouldn’t light (no lighter available to light it manually). A fire pit would be a plus, but we made due without. All things considered, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great Mountain Cabin with Beautiful Outdoor Space

The Hibernation Station was a perfect size cabin for our family of 4. Our kids loved the cozy feel and the old arcade system as well as the hot tub. They also enjoyed playing by the creek. I enjoyed the wide open star gazing space. The cabin is located within 30 minutes of all the key locations in the area and there is a country store and new grocery store both 5 min away. The balcony was a bit dirty and it would have been nice to have tangible brochures and a book of nearby attractions, restaurants, shops, etc... in addition to the app.

Ok, but not what we expected

The good: 1. The size of the cabin was perfect for our family of three and our little dog. 2. We liked the convenience to all the major places in Pigeon Forge. 3. We enjoyed the hot tub. 4. My husband especially enjoyed the arcade game. 5. The wrap around porch was nice to sit in the evenings. Now the not so good (which we never complained to management about the following things, as we just made the best of it since it was a vacation to relax and not to deal with issues): 1. location is not as isolated as pics show. It’s 3rd house in a neighborhood and traffic likes to fly through the neighborhood. Had to carefully watch for traffic when pulling out of drive. 2. Furniture needs be cleaned (stains and smelled of dog urine). 3. Gas grill looks as if it were never cleaned. We couldn’t use it as we could only get one burner to light as the igniter didn’t work. (We were going to clean it ourselves but brush was very worn and wouldn’t fully light (and yes there was gas). 4. Towels supplied had holes in them. 5. 2 rolls of the cheap toilet paper is not enough for 5 days for a family - bring extra! 6. 2 cup coffee pot is too small for coffee drinkers like us.

Just not a vacation at all. So incredibly disappointed

When we arrived right away we noticed how dusty it was. The porch was so bad, birds nest, leaves, and trash, as well as in the inside. The hot tub had so much slime in it, we didn’t even get back in it. There was a leak in the upstairs bathroom, shower area. Water had leaked all over my clothes and suitcases I had to rewash all of my clothes the first day. The first morning we woke up, my mom went to plug the coffee maker in and it sparked so bad. All of the outlets on the left side of the cabin blew. We didn’t have Wi-Fi the entire first day (it may not seem like a big deal but with children and teens, no Wi-Fi sucks.) Our door knob fell off of the bedroom door upon entry, we scooted the couches up to make more room.. the nastiness under the couch was insane. We honestly cleaned this place better than how we found it. This place has great potential, but was such a waste of money for our vacation. The maintenance man eventually came after a few phone calls. He informed us that it was hell week and there was nothing he could do about the outlets. He did bring us a propane tank thankfully since we purchased steaks we waited all day to cook. Overall, this place could be really awesome. Someone really needs to come in a deep clean along with repairs. It looked like the perfect place for our teens and kids to have a great vacation, but honestly we couldn’t get home fast enough. This just sucked.

Great for hanging out or going out

Love the set up of this cabin for hanging out with friends I hadn't seen in a while. Enjoyed the gas fireplace and wrap around porch with hot tub heated and ready to go! Cabin was pretty close to attractions and even decorated for the holidays. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Nice, but a Few Improvements Needed

The cabin was nice, but a few things need addressing. The recliner was broken when we got there, so you really just had a crooked chair to sit in. The two rocking chairs on the porch were unusable because they were rickety, broken, and the slats were missing. Also, the water in the hot tub smelled terrible!!! There is a downspout at the top of the house that is missing a piece and we were there during a rainy week and the drip from that was so loud you could hear it downstairs. This doesn’t make it easy to sleep. The knob to the upstairs bathroom was coming off the door, so it would have been easy to get locked in the bathroom. The arcade needs to be moved out of the lower bedroom, because it would be more usable if not in someone’s bedroom. The bed upstairs was also off the frame, which we realized when checking under beds before leaving. It really is a nice little cabin and being able to take back roads to the various places you want to go on the parkway was great. We enjoyed our stay, but these few fixes would make it a lot better.

Great Family time

This property was in a very good location off of the roads that led to it and was much appreciated after the snow and ice accumulated. It was great being with all of our kids and grandbaby. The property did have the basic necessities as described except we only had one measuring cup. Our small starter or sample of dish soap was less than half full as well. I am not sure of how the bed downstairs felt but the bed in the upstairs room really needs to be replaced. My husband and I ended up sleeping on the couches which were very comfortable. Other than those few things listed, our best times were while we were in the cabin with family, playing games and winding down from the busy days.

Absolutely beautiful cabin

Ran down from Indiana for a quick get away before Thanksgiving and booked this cabin last minute. We were very impressed with the cabin and oh so beautiful. Only issue we had was we thought it was a regular fireplace so we brought wood and then turned out to be gas logs. Pilot light was out so we called the manager and someone came and lit the pilot while we were in town eating. Suggest turning in Sevierville on the road between olive garden and red lobster and keep following that road and it comes out right by the cabin.
