Pros: hot tub!, pool table, quiet (except for the roosters and sheep 😉), close to Knoxville and Smokey Mountains but out a little, kitchen and staples.
Cons: beds were hard and uncomfortable, bathroom could use in update
This place was just perfect! It is exactly what was listed and so much more! Everything was so clean. I have stayed at many rentals over the years but this one by far was one of my favorites. It was quiet and nestled right into the country. Far enough from the city but just a short drive to Knoxville or Gatlinburg. It sits what feels like right in the middle of both The hot tub on the porch was so clean!! We felt we were in our own little piece of Heaven for a few days The two dogs that greeted us daily when leaving or arriving (or both) were such a treat for us! Well behaved and mannered. I could say so much about this place! We loved every minute of it.
Friends and I were looking for a great place to stay for the Tennessee vs Florida game. The location was about 27 minutes from Neyland stadium away from all the city life. Great environment. Game room, room for outdoor activities in the front yard. Fire pit, grill, hot tub. Great host. Great place to stay. I will be back.
We really enjoyed the place. Everything you need in a home away from home. It was like visiting my ole home place. Farm animals, friendly dogs and the backwoods scenery. Loved it and will do it again next trip to the smokies!
We enjoy staying away from all of the hustle and bustle so this location was great. If you're looking to stay between Pigeon Forge and Knoxville, this is the perfect area. The home was just as the photos show and provided everything we needed. Laurel was very responsive and a kind host!
This location was very deceiving on the outside but such the cuties were place with all kinds of animals and close to everything. I would have to say I rate this an A

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Check-in
Definitely had some issues.
After locating the property, it took over and hour, several calls and messages to learn the door knob wasn't supposed to be locked and it was preventing the key code pad from working. The air conditioning was not on when we finally got in. Took awhile to cool down and we couldn't get the hottub to work. Beds were uncomfortable. Just was not impressed with alot of this rental.

We have been married for 13 years and love to travel. We currently have 2 rentals in the Smoky Mountains where we live.
Why they chose this property
This home is centrally located In Jefferson City, TN. It is 20 minutes from Knoxville and 30 minutes to the heart of Pigeon Forge. Although it is close to all that fun, it is located on a quiet 2 acres and offers all you need for R&R. If you don't want to get out in the hustle and bustle, there is plenty to do close to home. Just check out our guidebook for some of our favorites! If you prefer, you can stay in and play pool, watch a movie, or enjoy a quiet evening in the hot tub on the front deck and roasting marshmallows over the fire.
What makes this property unique
We think you will love the natural lighting in this home as much as we do! The huge bay window in the kitchen is a beautiful way to enjoy your morning cup of Joe or your evening dinner. Also, look for the birds in the tree at the front porch. It is their favorite place to perch and you will get several to visit you while watching the sun rise and set. There are also sheep grazing by the pond that you can watch from the front porch or fire pit.
