It has a grand design with soaring cathedral ceilings, open kitchen and grand open dining area, and a breakfast nook overlooking the canal; The large size primary bedroom is privately located on the top floor with high ceiling, the primary bath with relaxing Jacuzzi, and has a huge sitting area with slider opening to the private sun deck. It also has a koi pond with many colorful fish.

It was OK

It was OK, but not our favorite rental on the Cape. We've been going as a family to the Cape for years, and we've stayed all over. This was the first time we had stayed up near Bourne/Sandwich on the Canal. The Good: -- Very quiet neighborhood -- The view over the Canal really was spectacular, especially at sunset -- Excellent A/C. Almost too good... -- Bunnies! At one point we were watching 5 of them hop around the back yard -- Pretty easy access to the Canal bike path on the Cape side The Meh: -- The house was pretty clean, but a bit shabby. Could use a little maintenance here & there -- Expensive. We were late, though, and beggars can't be choosers -- The location is very tough for getting around. You have to come in off of Sandwich Road; there is no other way. Depending on the time of day & the day of the week, you can really get caught up in traffic. -- Not close to the things we like to do. We enjoy Falmouth & Mashpee; everything was at least 25 minutes away (with good traffic). Others might enjoy it just fine. This was not a great fit for our family.

We enjoyed our stay, the home overall was in need of repairs. Bathroom vanity lights only had 2-3 bulbs that worked out of 4 or 5.(just burned out and not replaced) Bed pillows were very cheap quality or just old. Kitchen cooking utensils were very sparse. The yard/landscaping needs attention - overgrown bushes and weeds. The host was easy to communicate with. The upstairs bedroom & bath was nice and spacious. Nice laundry space.

The house was perfect for our group (3 adults, 4 kids, 2 infants). It was clean, the location was safe and peaceful, and the house had lots of space. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Great home for a nice family getaway

We had a great time! It is spacious and beautiful. Close proximity to the Sandwich Boardwalk for the beach and bridge jumping. We took our boat out through the canal and a great dinner at the Pilot House. We also visited the Inflatable Waterpark.

Absolutely loved this property! Great location!

Communication with the host was fantastic. My questions were answered quickly. Loved this location, being on the canal was entertaining. We enjoyed seeing boats of all sizes go by. A short drive to Old Silver Beach which was beautiful. Also near many restaurants and entertainment. Best part of our stay was the house. It was large and roomy even at full capacity. I highly recommend this property and would love to come back.

Plymouth family event

The location is perfect, right over the bridge so we didn't have to deal with a lot of Cape Cod traffic. The house was spacious and accomodated our extended family. There were plenty of linens and the kitchen was well equipped though we didn't cook. The host kindly made an exception for our scheduling request.

All aspectsnof our stay was spot on! We enjoyed sunlight, privacy. Lots of space for each guest. Kitchen was well organized with kitchen supplies we needed. Grocery store was within minutes and allowed us to enjoy our meals with prepping and eating on site. Walking along the canal was great with best of weather. All in all a 5 star stay. Thank you!

Fantastic property for group

The property is fantastic for a group gathering. I had my sister, two sisters-in-law and niece in the group. The spread out of bedrooms gave us each the privacy to lead to a great group getaway.

Buyer Beware

This property was COMPLETELY misrepresented. It was filthy, outdoor was overgrown, moldy, deck is starting to rot and in desperate need of refinishing. Indoor, carpet was dirty and spotted, torn draperies, stove was filthy, broken furniture. I have pictures to back up my comments. My money was refunded within 3 days, but really were put in a bind to find other accommodations for 7 Women who planned this trip for a year in order to celebrate a momentous birthday. EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTING.

Area is great

The area is a great place to vacation. Traffic, of course, is always a challenge. One of two HVAC’s was not working. There were portables AC’s not set up properly. We got some tape and used towels to situate them. We were lucky the weather stayed cool during our week, so it wasn’t too bad. We were pleasantly surprised by some coffee and paper towels provided. To lock patio door, lift the handle while you turn the lock.

House was very clean, we had a problem with the a/c when we first arrived, and it was very hot, we contacted the owner and he was able to get the house cooled enough for our stay.

Great quiet neighborhood just over the bridge in Cape Cod

We spent 5 nights at the property in late July 2022. The house was big enough and spacious enough for our group of 9. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and access to the trail along the canal for exercise. We weren't at the house much during the day as we were exploring Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard on day trips. It was a good location as a home base to explore all parts of the island.

The property was centrally located to many attractions. The house was great for extended families and looked as the pictures indicated. There could have been a bit more living room seating. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend the home to other families.

Very clean home, extremely responsive owner (usually within an hour) and lots of space to spread out. One item to note, we were only able to see the cape from the top level of the home (master suite).

Comfortable getaway in Cape Cod!

This place was perfect. I stayed here with my family to attend a family reunion over the 4th of July. My kids loved feeding the Koi fish. Hua was very responsive. Highly recommend for an easy getaway.
