Our new comfortable holiday home is located directly on the Wieker Bodden, only separated from the water by a spur road. Here you can experience many windy days directly at the popular surfing and kitespot with kite school. The knee-deep shallow water of the Bodden, at least 200m wide, offers excellent conditions for beginners to learn this sport in a few days.
Our new half-timbered house with 120 m² of living space, is very comfortably furnished in country house style, we put special emphasis on the equipment on solid natural wood furniture.
On the ground floor is our modern country kitchen, which invites you to cook and enjoy and is equipped with everything you would expect from a hobby kitchen. A dining room with oak wood bench and a living room with leather sofa and stressless armchair complete the open plan living area, which has a very special effect with lots of natural oak and natural stone walls. The stove, integrated into this natural stone wall, does not only warm in winter. On the first floor under the open roof are the three bedrooms: A large room with a double bed and a bunk bed for the family, to the water and with access to the large balcony, two bedrooms also separated by natural stone walls, each with a double bed. From the roof loggia you have a magnificent view over the bay up to the lighthouse of Hiddensee. The bathroom above has a shower and a bathtub. From the bathroom you have access to the sauna. In the hallway, a gallery invites you to watch TV and relax after the sauna.
To the port or The center of Wiek is only a few minutes walk along the bay. Here you will find next to the bakery, supermarkets, the post office and some restaurants also a doctor and dentist. The harbor invites you to stroll with its shops and bistros.
In addition to the classic destinations such as Cape Arkona and Hiddensee, the well-marked cycling and hiking trails offer the opportunity to get to know the island itself.
Thermal baths, the natural stage in Ralswiek with the Störtebeker Festival or the dinosaur world for the children, Proja, everything is easily reached by car.
The Baltic Sea is 5km away, either in the west at Dranske or in Juliusruh in the north, with the 12 km long sandy beach, the Schaabe.
