Cuas pier cottage
We stayed a week and loved this well equipped, comfortable and beautifully situated house. 270 degree views of Kenmare bay and Iveragh peninsula. We hope to come back next year.

We will come back!
Even though it has rained almost everyday, our stay in Ireland has been very enjoyable, because we could always take shelter in this wonderfully cozy cottage. The view from the dining area was breathtaking. One could enjoy the landscape without having to deal with the weather.

Beautiful Beara
Splendid isolation sums up our stay in Margit's beautiful house in West Cork. Its in one of the most beautiful places in the absolute middle of nowhere. Comfy, warm, clean and sea and coastal views to die for. Prepare for a fair bit of pretty challenging of driving if you plan to explore the Beara as we did, but it was truly worth the effort. Thanks Magrid, hopefully some day we'll be back.

Maison tres agreable avec une vue incomparable! La peninsule de Beara est, à elle seule, un condensé d'Irlande! Si belle et si sauvage. Mon souhait : pouvoir y revenir dès que possible!

Auszeit auf Beara
Tolles Ferienhaus, sehr urig und gemütlich trotz der Möbel die nicht die neusten sind, der Blick auf das Meer und die Küste ist großartig, die Küche war top ausgestattet. Meerzugang, Wanderwege und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind um die Ecke, der kleine Supermarkt ist nur 5 Autominuten entfernt, der auch alles bietet was man braucht und täglich offen hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Gemütliches großes Haus in absolut fantastischer Lage. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet; für die Haustechnik liegen gute Beschreibungen in einer Mappe vor. Die Betten sind bequem. Empfehlung!

Grandiose Aussicht mit Wohlfühlfaktor
Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir überwältigt von der Lage des Hauses. Der Garten ist wunderschön gestaltet. Wir haben uns gleich sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus und besonders auch die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Ganz nah am Haus beginnt ein Rundweg über den Hügel am Meer, den man auch noch als Abendspaziergang (in geeigneten Schuhen) machen kann. Wir würden hier wieder eine Urlaubswoche verbringen.

Spectacular Views from Cottage
This property is very private, clean, well-provisioned and comfortable. It is close to a number of hiking trails and Castletown. The Pullen loop and Dunboy Castle loop trails were very good and we enjoyed swimming in Glanmore Lake. The internet connectivity was excellent and there are 2 TV's, one for Irish channels and one with German channels. Heat and electricity were provided at a very reasonable cost. We had a very pleasant stay and can warmly recommend this property.

Familienurlaub in Westcork
Wir haben in dem Haus wunderbare 2 Wochen verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und sehr schön gelegen. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich unzählige Wanderwege und Touristikstraßen wie der Ring of Beara oder Ring of Kerry. Die Landschaft und Natur ist hier atemberaubend. Sportsfreunde kommen hier auch auf ihre Kosten ob Wandern, Joggen oder am nahegelegenen Pier schwimmen gehen, Möglichkeiten sind gegeben. Im Haus gibt es eine voll ausgestattete Küche und ein Spielzimmer in dem die Kinder lesen, spielen oder einfach nur Fernsehen können. In den 3 Schlafzimmern kommen bequem 6 Personen unter. Wir kommen gerne wieder! :-)

Room with a view
Fabulous location overlooking the sea, a perfect place to escape to. If your a wild swimmer it is a couple of minutes walk to a sheltered pier where you can swim even a low tide . Will definitely be back.

Beautiful Beara
We loved our visit to the Beara Peninsula and this house suited us perfectly. It's spacious and there are gorgeous views. The kitchen is well stocked and it was great to have a second living room upstairs where the kids could relax while the adults read downstairs. The house is within easy reach of Ardgroom and was a good base for exploring the rest of the peninsula. The lovely loop walk of Pulleen starts at the pier beside the house and there is a gorgeous pottery workshop next door. We loved our visit to Derreen Gardens, Eyeries and Allihies and spent a wonderful day walking on Dursey Island. We hope to return!

Incredible views
A lovely, well equipped property. Comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are a little basic but perfectly serviceable. The views of the surrounding landscape are fantastic. We had great weather and every evening sat on the patio it was picture perfect. The garden surrounding the property is well kept and very peaceful. Stunning location, the property is quote seculded and feels remote, yet not too far from the local village. I would highly recommend this property and it is definitely on our return list. Enjoy!

Great week in Beara
We spent a great week in Ardgroom. The house is very comfortable, there is everything you need and the views over the bay are amazing. When we arrived the house was ready for us and very clean. Elaine who looks after the property is really friendly and helpful and we want to thank her to make sure we were ok. I highly recommend this house for a great holiday. Truly Breathtaking.....
I took this trip with my elderly Mother, as we only get to see each other once a year, so this is precious quality time together. It’s hard to explain just how stunning and totally breathtaking this location is. If I had a choice, I would live here permanently! I’m serious..... The host Margit, was very kind, and answered all my questions, as was Elaine, the housekeeping girl. Great communication, very helpful, and we had everything we could possibly need. We had fabulous weather and went for some lovely walks nearby, enjoying every precious moment there. Very hard to leave I can tell you! It was truly a most memorable experience, and one of the most beautiful places we have ever been to. I sincerely hope we can return again soon. I promise that you will fall in love with this place as I did....
