Updated Kiahuna Plantation Ocean View - Lanai on Lawn

Our ground level Kiahuna Ocean View unit in building 20 is a favorite for it's expanse of lawn leading from the lanai to the beach. It's very a quiet and private part of Kiahuna, which is why many prefer this area to any other on the property. Just to the east is a picturesque view of the twin bridge, a charming feature occasionally favored as a wedding site.

New carpet, cabinetry, and Ceasarstone quartz kitchen counters make the unit feel fresh and bright. Most recently we have added a new walk-in shower.

Free WIFI in and around the unit.

We provide one mis stay linen replenishment in a 7 night stay. Additional housekeeping can be arranged upon arrival.

Great Location!

This place was great! Beautiful Lanai looks out to grassy area that is only a short (2min) walk to the beach. The condo was perfect for me, my wife, and out 7 month old. Quick walks to many different beaches and access to the Poitou Athletic Club was a nice bonus, as was access to beautiful gas grills for bbqing. Communication with Gordon and Barbara was great too and they responded to my questions very quickly. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the city life and embrace beach living!

Great location but very old accommodations

I was in a little bit of shock at how old the condo looked upon arrival. The furniture is so old and it just looked kind of dirty. After looking around I noticed a few issues and contacted the owner right away. He was very nice and had the property management come to address them immediately. The check in process was extremely easy and the location of the condo really made up for the lack of amenities. I’ve stayed in many rentals and most of them are well equipped with kitchen supplies, household items, etc. but this one is very limited. I love to cook and feel that the kitchen needs a major over haul. There wasn’t even a little salt and pepper. We had 2 other families staying at the property in other locations and their units were much nicer and very well maintained with full spice cabinets and upgraded kitchen supplies. I was also surprised that there wasn’t any hand soap in the unit. They give you a tiny set of shampoo/conditioner and lotion. Enough for maybe 2 days. Luckily we didn’t spend too much time in the unit and the location of the property made up for the older interior. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes; we were able to enjoy time at the beach easily (which was gorgeous) with the ability to come back home quickly for food and drinks! The beach club is also really close which we used daily! If the condo wasn’t located where it was I would not recommend staying here. The owner is very easy to communicate with and was extremely responsive. Mahalo 🌺

Kiahuna 134

Fabulous central location within the Kiahuna Plantation, ocean views across the lawns and a perfect play area for the kids right outside the lanai which makes the whole place seem bigger. Definitely recommend.

A lovely condo on the garden level

The condo was nicely furnished, clean, and very well located, with lovely views of the lawns and trees and with a sliver of the ocean visible. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. 5 Stars all around!

Deep Clean

The unit needs a deep clean. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Kitchen floor, cabinet handles and inside table dirty. Would not stay in this unit again.

Tired & Needs Updating

Felt like I was in my Grandmother's old condo. Needs to be completely updated. Shows signs of wear and tear. Had to have the 3 fans on continually and was still too warm to sleep with no air conditioning. Only positive was it had a good mattress.

Nice condo at Kiahuna

We have stayed at Kiahuna before and enjoyed our stay again. The condo location is great, easy to get to beach, nice open grass area off the lanai. Condo had all the basics. Fans for the living and bedrooms. A bit dated as most condos at Kiahuna are, its is rare to find an updated modern unit. The unit did not have beach chairs, beach towels, cooler or umbrella which some other units supply and are nice when traveling to a beach other than right out front. All in all a nice condo in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to our next trip to Kauai and Kiahuna Plantation!

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. It’s location is perfect and the ground floor made coming and going easy. It also seemed to extend the patio out onto the lawn. The unit is comfortable and has been updated which is very nice!

Exactly what we expected and wanted

Our family has a long history of staying on the Kiahuna property so we were delighted to be able to stay here and carry on the tradition. The condo has everything you need, right up to a closet filled with surf and boogie boards that we all enjoyed using. The place was nice and clean and they did a good job with all the fans...they were a must in the August heat. Thanks!!!

50th wedding anniversary

I rented this property for my son's family to celebrate our anniversary. We had two other units in Kiahuna rented. Everyone loved the experience. We barbecued most nights and loved close access to the beach. The lower unit was perfect for children because they could play on the lawn. They so enjoyed the snails and geckos. Thank you for sharing your island getaway.

Lovely unit with amazing view

This was our second time in this unit, and it was just as wonderful as last time. The location offers a gorgeous view and is a peaceful spot within Kiahuna Plantation. If you want an amazing experience but don’t need oceanfront, 134 is for you.

Lovely location.

We greatly enjoyed the great lawn out our front doors, the view, and the short walk to the beach. We had a very sweet time with the family and Kauai is one of our favorite places. The condo is comfortable, has what is needed, and was a nice place for a home base. The sounds of birds, flowers, and breezes were lovely through the slatted windows. Checking in with Castle was very easy - we would return.

Great little one bedroom

We stayed in this 1 bedroom unit for a sunny week in January. The location was great! We were close to shopping and a golf course and adjacent to the Sheraton. The pictures shown are very accurate to what your going to see upon your arrival. We enjoyed the beachfront which has ample chairs available for your day by the water. We also enjoyed the pool and restaurant located across the street from the condo complex.The restaurant had a nice menu to enjoy while enjoying the sun with a cocktail.We really enjoyed our week and would rent this unit again upon returning to Kauai. Thanks Gordon and Barbara!

Lovely location and setting. Comfortable condo

We loved our stay at #134. Just as we remembered it and better. We had papaya every morning that we bought at the farmers market in Koloa Monday at 12:00. We got there early and were able to look around before it opened. We enjoyed Mai Tai's at the Marriott. Fun to watch a surfer dad with his 3 year old son. We also enjoyed a two hour tour of the Grove Farm Plantation. Beautiful gardens and a lovely setting. It was fun to see the inside of the house and all the collections. We had tea and cookies in the kitchen. Our tour lady showed us all her pots and pans. She told us that our smile is unique to each of us and we should show it often. Very sweet ! The unit was well cared for and clean. I would definitely recommend to friend.

Beautiful Kiahuna Plantation and Condo, April 15 - 23/16

We had a fantastic time in Kauai! We loved the Kiahuna Plantation and the condo, and felt they were the best place to stay on the south shore. We went snorkeling at Poipu Beach in the morning (a monk seal or two were always there), then did some sightseeing in the afternoon. Some of our favorite things were seeing Waimea Canyon, hiking along the cliffs beginning at Shipwreck Beach, and taking a catamaran sunset trip to Na Pali. We used Blue Dolphin and the crew was fantastic! We got lucky on that trip and saw a mother whale and her calf less than 50 feet from the boat! It was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation. The next time we come back to Kauai, we definitely will stay here again! We loved it as it was in the perfect location for us to enjoy the sights and beauty of the island. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Wonderful Stay At Kiahuna Plantation, Feb 6-14/16

Our stay was perfect. We both loved Kauai and the condo and complex were fabulous. The location is excellent for exploring the Island and the people at Castle Resorts very attentive and accommodating. They do a fabulous job of keeping the grounds and barbecues in pristine shape. We saw as much of the Island as we could while still taking a few days to kick back around Poipu and Old Koloa. Waimea Canyon, Polihale State Park, the east and north shores as far as one can drive, farmers markets, art night on Friday in Hanapepe and a Napali Coast catamaran tour were all highlights for us. What breath taking scenery and waves. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset one evening on the beach in front of the complex with a bottle of sparkling wine, lifting our feet when the waves came up under our chairs. Kalapaki Joes has good appetizers at happy hour, great lunch at Hanalei Gourmet and my husband fell in love the lemongrass martini at Keoki's Paradise. The Koloa Fish Market is a gem for local fish. We bought monchong one night and moonfish another which was a real treat. I'm so glad we picked your condo out of the thousands of choices on the internet. It was a real pleasure to deal with you and to find that everything was just as you say on your website. We hope to return to Kauai one day. Thank you so very, very much!
