This is It!! The most awesome place you'll find in the Cedar City area, located just 15 minutes west of town.

Our Mountain Paradise is especially quiet, quaint and cozy, as well as, a place you can make a little extra noise if you want. Tucked away in the foothills on 3-acres of fun, you can head out for a hike or stay put for days enjoying miles of mountain views from the comfort of the couches or while sitting on the deck. How about a short trip up to Brian Head Resort for a fun day of skiing or head over to hike Beautiful Bryce and Zion National Parks just a short hour away. Upon arriving home, take a dunk in the pool, throw some wood in the outdoor fire pit, roast some marshmallows, or just kick back in the 8-person Jacuzzi. If that’s not enough, there are many other activities just minutes away.

Our 2-story, 4,300 sf. home is very warm and charming to the senses and ideal for a small family or large groups. This 6br/3ba home includes 2 master bedrooms, 2 living areas, a game room w/pool table, dart board and air hockey. The 9-acres of property offers a perfect setting for weddings, reunions, church retreats, and just about any kind of gathering you desire. You'll find plenty of parking for all kinds of vehicles and an RV hook-up, as well. Roads are user friendly to all 2- and 4-wheel drives.

Remote & Serene

We loved the location and the property. Highlights were the large gathering spaces, the game room, and the views. We didn't get the chance to try out the pool or hot tub, but we wish we had. Upstairs there's a bit of an old-house smell, and you can tell it's a pet-friendly home. Many of the mattresses were showing their age and had a lot of character. The checkout process is pretty normal -- maybe a little bit more work than average in our experience. Dawn was very responsive and generous. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Family Reunion

There was plenty of space and lots to do, but it’s clearly an older home and some of the furnishings were quite worn out. Squeaking doors and mattresses. One sofa was especially old and worn. For the most part, things were clean, other than lots of dust and cobwebs. The host was very accommodating. The neighbor, who is the handyman, was also very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked, everything you could possibly need. The family room was nice and spacious. The kids had a lot of fun on the playground and playing air hockey. They also liked the pool.

Better than expected,

The perfect place for our group of 16. Activities, games and plenty to keep busy all day. Nice pool, bigger than pictured. Kitchen had so much, for everything we wanted to cook. 2 kitchen tables-1in the front room plus barstools, so we had plenty of seating for meals. Comfortable beds. Plenty of outdoor tables and chairs. Extra chairs to use also. The house stayed nice and cool all day. Ceiling fans and other fans available to help out with keeping a comfortable temperature. Communication with property managers was prompt.

Great for all ages!

Our family of 12 (9 adults + 3 kids) found this place to be perfect in every way! Pool, hot tub, and game room were all very well utilized. Well-equipped and very functional kitchen for feeding a big group. Lots of space to be together, and the ones who needed to could still find a quiet spot to be alone. The outside spaces were well-equipped with BBQ's (both gas and propane), plenty of seating, and we loved the firepit! Our serious hikers had easy access to Zion for day trips. We hope to visit this one again!

Family trip to Utah National Parks

The owner, Dawn, was very helpful and informative leading up to and during our stay. The house was wonderful and the perfect size for our family members. It is located in a countryside setting, away from town (roughly 20 min.) And very well located to make day trips to Zion (only 26 min from Kolob Canyon), Cedar Breaks, Snow Canyon, and Bryce just to mention a few. All appliances worked perfectly and the swamp cooler worked great to keep the house cool, all you have to do is follow the directions. Would stay at this house again!

Graduation to remember!

Our stay was beyond our expectations! Everything was as it was described plus more. Dawn was amazing to work with and was more than helpful! We are so thankful that she shared her home with our family as we celebrated our daughter’s graduation from SUU!! Made priceless memories that will last a lifetime thanks to our beautiful stay! Will definitely look to come back!

Good for non-fussy large groups

Pros of this place: lots of room to spread out for multiple generations, game room really fun for kids, huge kitchen to visit and cook in, quiet, lovely stars at night, nice hot tub, close to Cedar City, affordable. Possible cons for some: hot water in master suite only worked a few minutes at a time, and this was clearly a family's home, had lots of religious decor (didn't bother us, but might be an issue for some). So, those fussy about hot water, decor, or sheet thread count might prefer something fancier. Also the thermostat was set to 50 when we arrived on a night that it was snowing, so house took awhile to warm up. Still good overall, great value when needing space and quiet!

Great family house

Our group was multigenerational from seniors, adults, teenagers, preteens and a 3 year old. And when not skiing there was room and fun things to do for all age groups. We very much enjoyed our stay and plan to stay there again next winter.

Great Place for our Family Reunion

We enjoyed our stay at Dawn's place and it was a great place for our family reunion and fit our group nicely! The kids loved having space in the game room and outside with lots to do. If you do have kids play outside, make sure to keep them away from the road as there were some people driving fast up and down the road while we were there. We would stay here again!

Family reunion

This is the second time we used this for a family reunion. Great space and location. Close to Newcastle reservoir where we spent one of the days. The water tasted bad so we had to buy bottled water to drink but other than that we had a great stay

Great for a family reunion!

There was something for everyone of every age to do at this house! The grandkids thought it was so amazing that they could swim, play air hockey, shot pool, play games inside and out, soak in the hot tub, watch their favorite show on the big screen TV and hang out with 18 cousins all in one place! Kitchen is stocked with everything but the food. Definitely would come back here again!

We enjoyed our stay. Hot tub was great. We were concerned to learn it was swamp coolers instead of Airconditioning but the house was cool and no complaints. It’s certainly a ways out there but an overall lovely place to stay.

Fun family getaway

This place is great for any size group. With room to spread out into different areas and have small groups of people fitting in everywhere. Everyone really enjoyed all the games and activities to stay busy. The kids felt the adventure of exploring the inside of the house picking just the right bed or bedroom for each of them, as well as the outside of the house driving mini monster trucks around the property and slipping into the refreshing pool. We enjoyed the remoteness and never minded the drive into cedar city or to the highway. We hope to return, maybe in the winter season 🙂

Great Weekend!

Relaxing and Full of Fun

We took a group of teenage girls there for a girls camp. The property was full of fun things to do from hiking, swimming, and hot tubbing to billiards, air hockey, and all sorts of games. The DVD player and WiFi didn't work and the owner was awesome about getting someone to work on it but that didn't matter because of all there was to do we didn't even notice it until the night before we were checking out, but the owner I am sure will have it fixed right away. One of our girls tripped on the stairs and hit the wall in the stairwell hard and caused a hole. We purchased the insurance beforehand and the owner was so gracious ad understanding and took care of getting it fixed through the insurance. We had so much fun there. The girls loved it so much. There was lots of room for sleeping and the kitchen was fully stocked. It was the perfect place for us. So grateful for this gem we found in the woods. Thank you Dawn for renting it out! I will definitely remember this for family reunions.
