Great stay

We had a great time on a multi-family trip. Property managers were kind and prompt with anything that we needed. Property is beautiful, but watch your head coming out the door to the back porch. Taller folks will bump their head. if you're not careful.

Perfect!

The property was located in the best area. We were able to ride our side by side straight from the cabin to the wolf pen gap riding trails. There was a beautiful little creek and swimming hole right behind the cabin that we spent some time enjoying. The cabin was perfect for me and my husband, our 22 yr old son, and our daughter and her husband. We had a great time!

Beautiful campground - very family oriented

We enjoyed our stay, the place is super clean, very conveniently located in the WolfPen area. Management was very attentive which gives you an elevated sense of security. Every vehicle coming in is screened by management which is great. We had a guest in a different vehicle stop by to visit, and management promptly checked on them upon arrival which we much appreciated. Their campground has plenty of entertainment for the young ones: rock-climbing wall, swing sets, beach volleyball court, Gaga ball, basketball, picnic tables, theater stages, swimming hole, etc. We will definitely be back. Cabin was clean and well equipped and well taken care of. Excellent experience.

Awesome stay

Last minute trip to Mena to ride wolf pen gap! This cabin was very clean and accommodating. The creek is right off the back porch and the trails are also. One thing is ** THE DIRECTION ON HERE ONCE YOU RESERVE ARE NOT CORRECT** so contact the manager before you go. Because the how to get there isn’t correct. Other than that awesome stay!! Will be coming back for sure!!

Peaceful & Relaxing!

We loved staying in this cabin right on the creek. It was peaceful, relaxing and fun which is exactly what we needed. The guys on property were kind and helpful. There is no Wi-Fi but we were able to use it by the office just to check in with others. We were able to ride our ATVs from the property to the trails which was great! Cabin is clean and everything we needed. Hoping to come back again! The area is beautiful! There are RV sites here too. We still had our own space away from everyone else. Would be a great place for family reunion or to RV camo with others. Loved this cabin in the woods. Made some great family memories and for away from our busy lives for a few days!

This is a nice, quiet retreat.

This is a nice, quiet retreat from the busyness of life. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived. The fireplace was cozy. The deck overlooking the creek out back was great place to start the day. We watched a young buck drink from the stream in the light of sunrise. It was nice to be able to get some peace and rest and spend quality time together.

About the host

Hosted by Ronda Lambert

Host profile image
This property belongs to the Ouachita Baptist Assembly, a campground for religious camps, retreats, conferences, pastors retreats, and such. The campground facilities include this cabin, 2 kitchenettes, RV sites, a main dorm and an auxiliary dorm. The cabin accommodates 6 people, each kitchenette accommodates 4 people, and the RV sites accommodate 10 campers. The dorms will house 100 people and the main dorm includes a full kitchen and dining/conference area. The Southern Baptist Churches in the Ouachita Association invites the public to utilize our facilities. Having camps and renting the facilities make up the difference for maintenance and improvements on the grounds. Open air buildings available for camps are the pavilions for classes and the tabernacle for corporate worship. We invite you and your family to join us! We are open 12 months a year and we operate under the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message through the Arkansas Southern Baptist Convention, which includes the following statements:
1. The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man.
2. There is one and only one living and true and triune God; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
3. It is the duty of Christians to seek peace with all men on principles of righteousness.
4. Man is the special creation of God, made in His own image. He created them male and female as the crowning work of His creation.

Why they chose this property

Our campground provides peace and quiet with large open spaces, a swimming hole where the creek runs just outside the balcony on the back of the cabin, plus firepits, pavilions with electricity, playground equipment, and more and has an alcohol and smoke free environment. Cell service is spotty and we will be glad to tell you just where it's at its' best around the campground. We also have 2 kitchenettes if you have more than 6 coming for the cabin. You can check them out at #2031657 and #2036462.

What makes this property unique

Want some 4 wheel drive experience? You are so close to it with Wolf Pen Gap Trails nearby. But also, our campground roads are a little rough. And although we advise caution when you drive in, we do have plans for road improvements. The mountains and the pine trees and the creek and the quiet. Come for these and draw neigh to God, too.
