Beach Therapy is the downstairs unit of this newly renovated duplex home, conveniently located 5 blocks from The Seawall and on a street with a dedicated bike/walk path. This location is less than one mile from the Galveston Historic Pleasure Pier, close to the Downtown Historic Strand, two blocks from the Bryan Museum, and has many local dining favorites nearby. The home can comfortably accommodate four guests with two bedrooms, one bathroom and a sleeper sofa. Free street parking available.

The space
This downstairs unit is a cozy getaway retreat. Completely renovated, modern decor, quartz counter tops and stainless appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything for your cooking/baking needs, including a toaster and blender. The second bedroom has washer/dryer attached and accesses the storage area with bicycles. The patio is equipped with a charcoal and gas grill for your use and also an outdoor shower. The master bedroom has a king size bed and flat screen TV. The living room has one memory foam queen sofa bed with a flat screen TV. Second bedroom has queen size bed.

Guest access
Beach Therapy is the downstairs unit of this duplex, and has private access to a washer/dryer. Guests can access the shared patio and outdoor grilling space from the second bedroom.
Outdoor shower to rinse the sand off from your fabulous day at the beach is located at back of patio

Other things to note
Beach Therapy occupies the bottom floor of the newly renovated duplex. This unit has sole access to laundry and storage and can directly access the shared patio/grilling area . Free use of two bicycles included.

It was a great location to walk to the beach. Strand was 1.2 miles away which we walked to. The place was very clean and perfect for 2 people. All necessities were provided. The owner responded quickly to questions. She was very easy to work with. The only addition I’d recommend is an outside shower or area to spray down the sand.

Great little beach get away

Special MIL trip
Took the MIL on a short weekender to get away from the craziness in her life. The place was very cute and very comfy! Super clean! Everything we needed was available. Hostess was good at communication. We will stay again, if available for our timeframe, in the future. Thank you Cindy for letting us stay in your lovely home. :)

Good location between The Strand and The Seawall
The pros: 1. Good location just blocks from the sea wall and a mile from the Strand area. 2. Super clean and modern 3. Good communication with the host over some minor questions regarding the bikes. 4. Bikes provided! 5. Excellent wifi service Cons: There weren't any for us and our needs. We had exactly what we wanted, where we wanted. Cindy is a sweetheart.
