Large back yard that overlooks the creek that borders the property and a private screened dock house for enjoying the river breezes. A fire pit to enjoy sitting around an open fire, while looking for your favorite star. The Steinhatchee Rivers is just a few feet from the private dock. Master bedroom with bath and a second loft bedroom with two full bed. Large screened porch, smart TV's and fully equipped kitchen. Sofa in living area makes into a full size sleeper. Nice place to stay

We really liked this house. I got the master BR so that helped. The stairs to the loft are a little steep but the average person can handle it. Everything was clean and in order and we would stay there again. We did not attempt to launch or keep a boat in the narrow river tributary, I would not recommend that for a sea worthy vessel.

Fishing Tournament

This getaway exceeded what we needed although we enjoyed it. The internet was not too great but we really didnt mind too much. It was like being home to us. Thank you so much for everything. I recommend this getaway to anyone looking for a quiet, enjoyable, family time.

Peaceful and Relaxing

The pictures do not do this little gem justice. It is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. Enjoyed the home as well as the overall property. The owner was extremely pleasant and easy to communicate with.

Dock Holiday

Beautiful property!! Impeccably clean. Thank you for that. We enjoyed relaxing. It was calm, peaceful and private. It was nice to have our own dock to park the boat. The property was convenient and close enough we were able to utilize and drive our SxS to and from town. Fantastic water pressure in the house. Only one negative not enough turning radius for a F350 and 21 ft boat. We had to back in from the highway. Other than this, we absolutely loved it. Highly recommended. We will visit again. 💞

We loved this property! Everything about it was perfect, cozy, and exactly what we hoped for. One downside, the carpenter and oak ants were a bit much. I cannot imagine staying there and being alllergic. Might be good info for getting pest control out. Other than that, we had THE BEST time and the house is beautiful, the back porch was fantastic, and the boat dock/slip was perfect. Overall, hands down, the best place i have stayed while being in Steinhatchee for scalloping. Thank you!

Nice property

The house was nice and clean. We enjoyed staying here. If you bring a boat you MUST watch the tides. If it is dead low it is super tough to get back into the boat house area. After the first day we got it down and everything went pretty smooth.

Quiet river house

Loved this property! It was so peaceful and the yard led right to the river. There was a small dock where you can fish. The front porch was screened in, which was so nice if it was raining or if there was a lot of mosquitoes. It was about a 5 minute ride to the boat ramp. It was difficult to maneuver the truck and boat in and out. The ice cream shop in town is the best, a must go to!! Overall, we loved this house. It felt like home!

Beautiful property

Big and beautiful property on creek near Steinhatchee River. Reading previous reviews we did not put our boat in here but enjoyed the view of beautiful property and river. Inside beautifully appointed downstairs. Nice floors comfortable furnishings, very clean and well maintained. The sheets were super soft. Plenty of extra space to store our stuff for a week stay. On the down side master bed does sag in the middle and the pots are a bit worn. Glad I didn't have to climb the stairs other than a look. Made me nervous.

Property nice and comfortable, got new grill last nite, 2nd bedroom is open loft, no wifi but is on site...owner has it passcoded off

Dock Holiday

It was a very nice location, clean & peaceful. The swing was wonderful & relaxing. Would of be nice to know about the fire pit & the grill was absolutely covered in grime inside and ignition switch didn’t work properly. The nights got into the low fifties & the inside fireplace had no fuel for it to run. The fish market in town is amazing a must to visit in late afternoon (3:30ish) after fish has come in. Slightly concerned with new development next door and how noisy it would when it is at full capacity. The overall property is lovely & was throughly enjoyed.

Wonderful place on the River

Great rental, would recommend to anyone who's staying in this area to book this spot. Shared boat ramp and plenty of parking for truck and boat. Enjoyed being here, it was like being home.

Almost perfect

The cabin was in a good location, beautiful quiet setting, Furnishings were great EXCEPT for the master bed, it was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in and the couch wasn’t much better. The bed was very bouncy with a big indentation in the middle and every time you moved it affected the other person in the bed, so not much sleep . The description needs to include the fact that the driveway with boat ramp access is very narrow for a boat and trailer and certainly the river was too narrow to gain access to the mouth of the ocean from the cabin’s own boat dock ,so we had to put the boat in at the public boat ramp. We had inquired about this before booking and assured it was able to accommodate our boat but that was not the case.
