Place was close to city. Nice walk and many activities near. Love it and if come back would stay again.

Great place by the river

A great place for the family or close friends to stay. Sleeps 4 comfortably in a quiet neighbourhood. We only stayed for 1 night as part of a longer trip, but could easily have stayed longer. The only thing to note is that the bathroom is only accessible through the main bedroom so tip toe quietly if you need a pee in the night and you’re in the second bedroom!

Relaxing and comfortable stay in Kettwig

My wife and I stayed for 21 days and my two brothers stayed for the first 11 days during Euro 2024. We picked this town as it was small but had good transport links to other cities in the area. The flat is spacious and very well equipped with everything you need for a longer stay. Having a washing machine and fully functional kitchen was a great benefit. There is a beautiful parkland area on the adjacent riverbank which we enjoyed visiting on a daily basis. Helga the landlady was helpful and easy to contact prior to arriving. The town of Kettwig is very serene and an ideal place to relax. The public transport S6 buses are every 20 minutes throughout the day to 1am. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and managed to visit Munich, Cologne, Stuttgart, Essen and Dusseldorf by train. Thanks for comfortable stay. Alex & Kathy and family

Entspannte Location

Die Lage ist super. In ein paar Minuten ist man bei einer Pizzaria oder bei Aldi/Lidl/Edeka. Die Ferienwohnung war super nur das man durch ein Schlafzimmer muss für die Toilette war etwas lästig.

Netter Aufenthalt

Die Ferienwohnung entsprach unseren Erwartungen und ist in echt besser als auf den Bildern. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet und es waren viele Handtücher vorhanden. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Kurzurlaub

Die Vermieterin haben wir persönlich nicht kennengelernt. Die Wohnung war sauber aber die Dusche war mit Haaren dermaßen verstopft, dass sie neigte überzulaufen. Das Lattenrost in zwei Betten ist kaputt, einzelne Latten sind gelöst und lagen nicht auf, rutschten bei normalen Schlafbewegungen beängstigend umher. Die Wohnung liegt in einer Flughafen Einflugschneise und an einer Brücke, so dass die drüberfahrenden Autos zu hören sind.

Nice place outside Düsseldorf/Köln

I stayed here while visiting the nearby cities and found it a very enjoyable experience. The accomadations were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Kettwig is a very charming town and the nearby park overlooking the river is gorgeous. Helga is also a very kind and helpful host. Overall, a very nice (and well-priced) accomadation to relax locally or travel further afield.

Badezimmer nicht von jedem erreichbar!

Die Wohnung wurde für einen Kurzaufenthalt für 3 Nächte gebucht. Sie ist zentral, aber dennoch ruhig gelegen. Direkt an der Ruhr. Negativ: Der Check-In ist entgegen der Anzeige nicht um 12.30 Uhr möglich, sondern erst um 14 Uhr! Das eine Schlafzimmer ist ein Durchgangszimmer um ins Bad zu gelangen. Das ist ein Umstand der für mich ein Ausschlußkriterium gewesen wäre. Wenn nachts jemand ins Bad möchte, wird zwingend eine Person gestört, die im Zimmer davor schläft. So etwas sollte schon erwähnt werden. Die Wohnung war sauber, da kann man nicht meckern. Allerdings war ein Teil des Bestecks schmutzig und benutzt. Da verstehe ich die Leute nicht, die etwas so hinterlassen. Hier würde ich eine bessere Kontrolle empfehlen... Eine Küche, in der es weder einen einfachen Kochlöffel, noch ein Nudelsieb gibt, kann nicht als voll ausgestattet bezeichnet werden. Ja, man kann sich behelfen, allerdings ist voll ausgestattet etwas anderes. In dem Kühlschrank fehlt ein Ablageboden, so dass die Abstellmöglichkeiten eingeschränkt sind. Der Lichtschalter für die relativ dunkle Küche ist in der hintersten, dunkelsten Ecke des Raumes hinter einem Deko-Element "versteckt".

Schöne Wohnung zentral gelegen

Tolle Wohnung mit großen Schlafzimmern, sehr geräumigen Bad und einer schnuckeligen Küche in der alles vorhanden ist was man braucht! Die Wohnung war sauber, Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind vorhanden. Die Wohnung liegt direkt an der Ruhr und direkt an einer Straße, die aber nicht so stark befahren ist. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Wenige Gehminuten zur S-Bahn und zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir können diese Wohnung bestens weiterempfehlen! Gut geeignet für Familie mit Kindern.
