The booking was easy and the house was cute and laid out perfectly

The sleeping back porch was awesome. You were out with all the sounds and smells of the flowers but screened in to keep the bugs away. We will be using it again for sure.

I appreciated a clean cottage with no “bugs” or spiders! I loved all the fresh clean towels provided and the good lighting in the cottage. They could use a new refrigerator.

Lovely holiday cottage

Quaint little cottage on beautiful property, with shared pool and right across road from Guadalupe River. Loved the wallpapers and carved wooden furniture. Was great to have a comfy holiday home where our dog was welcome. In the mornings we enjoyed sitting on the screened porch with lovely view of nature, or down in the dry creek, before the heat of the day got to us. Check-in was very simple, and we lacked nothing during the stay.

Rough

The cottage is full of worn out stuff & it needs a thorough cleaning, in & out! No wifi our entire stay despite our numerous calls. They did give us a discount for that inconvenience. Our big dog was comfortable at this rough little place.

Charming

The cottage is charming and a great location. However, it didn't seem very clean. For example; there was dirt accumulated on the window shower of the bathroom - it was pretty obvious. Also, it states "fully equipped kitchen" but there is no non-stick skillet and only 3 forks. I think a non-stick skillet is the most basic pan needed in any kitchen. The interior furniture is a tad shabby but comfortable. We did enjoy our stay - just some observations for you to note.

Needs updating badly

Explanation as to which unit was ours was confusing and poorly written. When we finally found a number to call, the key pad didn’t work and they had to give us an alternative code. The front porch was super dirty as were the chairs. The fold out couch inside was old and the work out so the springs on it were uncomfortable to sleep on. The comforter on the main bed looked like it hadn’t been washed and it had dried on food still on it.

Shamrock Cottage

This was a nice quaint cabin that had everything we needed. The screened in back porch has an amazing view over Bumblebee Creek. It was a great base camp for hiking Lost Maples and Garner.

Cabin

Cabin is cute in a good location. Needs some maintenance. Bathroom sink did not drain. Had to use kitchen to wash hands, etc. nice large shower, hot water and good pressure. Needs. Freezer defrosted. It is solid ice. Flooring in corners of rooms dirty. Sweeping and mopping not being done in those areas. Overall enjoyed our stay and liked the cabin. Just needs TLC.

Place was cute but dirty

The cabin was cute, quirky, older which I like! But it was dirty :/ especially underneath the sofa bed - dead cockroaches and dust bunnies. Countertop appliances (blender/coffeemaker) had an oily film and we cleaned the coffee maker as best as we could to use it. Check in process was super easy. The screen porch was great. I want to love this place but it just needs a good deep cleaning first and a comfier sofa bed. The couch looks old, which again I don’t mind, but the mattress is not comfortable. My parents slept on the bed and they said it was comfy.
