Playa Fiesta-Galvestonian 2 BR/2 Bath

Welcome to Playa Fiesta (Beach Party!) - let your vacation begin in this amazing 7th floor condo where you see the sand, surf and sky through the wall of floor to ceiling windows the minute you walk in.

The colorful kitchen invites you to make anything your culinary expertise will allow - fully furnished and equipped with cookware, glassware, dinnerware. Of course if cooking on vacation isn't your thing – use the ASAP or DoorDash apps, or many of the local restaurants deliver themselves - delivery or pick up to go.

Each comfortable and spacious bedroom has a queen bed. The master has balcony access as well. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa (if you are not an early morning person, though, please note that the gorgeous window wall invites the gulf sunshine. There are light difusing but not room darkening window treatments - so it will likely be bright in the mornings. There's also a chaise in this room so everyone can gather for a family game night, rowdy card game or great conversation. The living room, dining area and kitchen are open so everyone is "together" whether watching TV,. playing cards, working a puzzle or fixing your next gourmet meal in the well-appointed kitchen.

The complex has a pool and hot tub, and a direct beach walkover to the sand. There are umbrella, chairs and bicycles for rent - please ensure you give the front desk your payment method as you cannot bill these to your room in this privately owned and professionally managed condo. These expenses are your financial responsibility.

This complex does not have laundry facilities available to guests. Many local laundrymat/washateria facilities offer laundry by the pound service, or we can make arrangements with one of our housekeeping contractors for a pick-up/drop off service for a fee if that is more convenient for you.

We will email you check-in instructions, and we are a phone call away - but we leave our guests to enjoy their stay unless they need us for any reason.

After making your reservation you will receive a link to complete our renters agreement. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved.

A perfect retreat.

The property and grounds are just as described. Everything was excellent. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and beach. It was great to be away from the busy beaches near the main part of town. The resort has hammocks, charcoal grills and beach wagons.

Gavelstonia stay

The condo was great place very clean and very helpfull staff . the beach and pool was great. The only fault we thought was we had to drive to the restaurants none were in walking distance. They could use one on site .

Excellent Galveston Getaway!!!

The Fiesta Playa condo at the Galvestonian was the perfect place!! The layout of the condo was excellent with two full bedrooms & two full baths, fully appointed kitchen & located on the 7th floor nothing came between your view of the beach & the ocean. The condo is only minutes from the excellent wharf restaurants & the Strand. Peaceful & beautiful…easy check in and checkout, no parking fees required, very safe…just amazing!!! Do yourself a favor and book this awesome place!!!

two-day easy beach stay

very well kept bldg and grounds - quiet, very clean beach. It was early in the week, but it was well-patrolled and seemed to be not one that had cars on the beach.

Perfect location!

We had an amazing weekend and loved every minute! Playa Fiesta is the perfect room, very clean, comfortable furnishings, and excellent views. We had a total of four people and felt we had plenty of space. The host were fantastic and so were the employees at the Galvestonion...they went above & beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to visit again. We will be renting the same unit.

Great place!

Loved this unit! Really cute space, comfy beds, plenty of supplies. Loved that there are floor fans in each room, too (as well as ceiling fans). We really enjoyed our time there and the pool was especially appreciated by our teenage granddaughters.

Great post Labor Day trip

The property was very clean and well stocked. The one issue we had was extremely dull knives. We could not find a single knife that was sharp. Other than that a great stay.

Wonderful Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay, condo is really cute, we loved fun beach vibe, and adored the view from the bedroom and living room- so amazing to wake up and see the Gulf. Loved that we could change pool towels to fresh ones at the reception as many times as we needed. The only unfortunate thing was that there is no laundry/washer/drier on the territory, but we were able to call laundry service. Owners were very fast to reply and really accommodating and allowed us later check out. Overall we had a wonderful time and definitely recommend this condo.

Getaway weekend

We enjoyed our visit to the Galvestonian. A great location with easy access to the beach and nearby restaurants. Beautiful pool and area. There were a few minor glitches in the condo, but these were quickly addressed by the manager.

The condo was very nicely furnished with a colorful beach theme. The balcony has a great view. My only complaint is that there was no closet available in the master bedroom and the closet by the front door had kitchen cleaning supplies in it.

So close to the ocean and beautiful view! Wonderful hot tub! Friendly staff and all the other condo owners were very friendly, too! Condo was super well stocked - games, puzzles, books, ocean toys. More than I needed alone in cold weather, but all details covered and appreciated! Thank you!

Great time in Galveston

This property was excellent. It was exactly as described, perfect location, great view. The inside was spacious, and clean. The internet was fast and reliable, which was needed as we both had to do some work while on vacation. Being right on the beach, without having to cross Seawall Blvd, was a huge plus. The condo was stocked with plenty of towels and other necessities. This was our 1st trip to Galveston, and we are glad this was where we decided to stay. We are already talking about a return trip, and another stay at this property. Highly recommend.

Galvestonian Greatness!

Four of us stayed at the Galvestonian Playa Fiesta June 2-4 for a girls getaway, and we couldn't have picked a better place! The condo is located within 2-3 miles of the main strip with all of the restaurants, but is in a more quiet, less travelled area. It is charmingly and wonderfully decorated, clean, extremely well stocked (with kitchenware, towels, even beach toys!) and has very comfortable beds. The views from the balcony (and the comfy balcony chairs) are magnificent. The complex has a beautiful lobby, helpful staff, and exceptionally well cared for grounds and amenities! The beachfront setting and private beach are ideal. The pool (huge) and hot tub are fabulous! We didn't want to leave. I would definitely recommend Playa Fiesta, and look forward to our next getaway there! Thank you to the owners for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Great unit at the Galvestonian!

Great unit at the Galvestonian! I LOVE the colors and decorations in this unit! I love the tall patio chairs and having two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are no window coverings so bringing a sleep mask is helpful if you are in rooms with beachside doors. I am a repeat customer and always enjoy my stay!

Overall ok

The condo and the location are nice. However the master bedroom was disappointing for many reasons. First, there is 0 privacy because the door doesn’t have a lock and does not close at all. Second, too bright. They need some serious shading on that room. Third, there was an annoying whistling noise going on every 5 minutes and it was hard to sleep. Also, there is no access to the closet, I don’t know where is a lady to hang out her dresses. The cookware were not clean, found hair on one of the plates and knives were rusted. Management was able to assist with some other issues in a timely manner, which was nice. Spices provided are expired. I might sound dramatic but this was not up to my standards, especially when you’re paying $4000 for my stay. Despite all this, my family and I still had fun and made great memories.

Playa Fiesta, June 2023

This is my third repeated trip to Galveston to stay in this unit at the Galvestonian. I love the way this unit is decorated and is so colorful! This time I had a couple of issues. A small problem was I could not get in with my things with my keycard, so I had to wait for maintenance to arrive to reset the lock and then I was able to get in. Then that first afternoon I noticed a high-pitched whining sound from the primary bedroom bathroom that happened a couple of times and I called and mentioned it and said I would let them know if it continued. That night starting around 11 PM and throughout the night the sound happened numerous times one after the other. The noise was too loud to sleep through so that was a challenging night. I called in the morning, and they said they would look at it and provide a sound machine which they did. I heard the sound again that afternoon and for the rest of my stay (2 nights) I slept in the bedroom in the front of the unit instead of the primary bedroom. Since I had stayed there before with no issues it was surprising to have this come up and it was not obvious what was making the sound. The unit itself had some nice upgrades from my previous stay. I love the new rugs that were added! Overall, I do enjoy this unit I just had that sound issue this time that really interfered with enjoying my time there. The Galvestonian itself is always a wonderful place to visit!

Hands on - we're available to help in any way we can. Hands off - we provide self check in instructions and allow our guests to go directly to their home away from home without having to stop at an office to fill our paperwork, obtain keys, wait in lines, etc.

What makes this property unique

Each property we manage comes with quality bed linens and beds made for you prior to arrival,fluffy towels (bath, wash and hand towel for each person the property sleeps) and starter supplies of toiletries,paper products and coffee!Not to mention the island hospitality that My Galveston Getaway is famous for!Some of our properties are dog friendly.If you have any questions please ask as some complexes do not allow pets at all,and in those complexes that do allow pets each owner has the choice of inviting canine family members.Some owners with whom we work have allergies or other reasons to not allow dogs and we ask that you please be respectful and not have a dog in a non dog-friendly property as we certainly do not want to have to ask a guest to leave because of their furbaby’s presence.We can recommend a local kenneling facility if you make a mistake and bring a dog to a non dog-friendly property, so please be sure that you travel with your pet’s current vaccine records. For those of our properties that are dog friendly they are dog only friendly – no other animals are permitted in a property that we manage. There is a $75 per dog non refundable dog fee that will need to be paid. Also – there are size and breed restrictions. For insurance purposes no pit bull, rottweiler, Doberman, chow, shephard or any mutt containing the bloodline of any of these breeds may be at a property that we manage. We will ask that you provide a picture by email of the dog(s) you plan to bring. Responsible pet owners are required to follow all local regulations with regard to leashes, as well as complex requirements (for example By the Sea complex charges a pet fee to the complex which is in addition to the fee that My Galveston Getaway charges) and they ask for vaccine records. Any property that is dog friendly requires that the pet owner clean up after their dog’s potty breaks.Please be sure to have baggies available as they may or may not be available at a property.
