Beautiful property!

We were in town for our daughters wedding. I wish we would’ve booked an extra day to get to enjoy the property even more! A definite do over.

Great couples weekend

My wife and two other couples stayed here and loved our experience. Exactly what we needed. House is a little dated. I wouldn’t look for new amenities here but the property is gorgeous and the house felt very clean. Would highly recommend.

Tennis House is Amazing!!

This is our 3rd time back and it was as wonderful as the first time! we love the home, but this home in the Delta, is next level. There is certainly something special about this area and it keeps us coming back. look forward to staying again!

Secluded, charming and memorable.

As soon as we arrived on the property it felt like we were taken back to a simpler time. This property is positively charming. The house gives the impression of part museum and part home. Interesting architectural and design choices all around. Even the books on the shelves in certain areas are lined up in a gradient of color. Perfect for a romantic getaway. By the end of our trip we were happily exhausted from all the tennis, pickle ball and swimming. Yet also well rested mentally from the rejuvenating energy of these beautiful well maintained grounds. Butterflies, birds and bunnies all around to brighten your day. The house is very well stocked. There are also multiple TV’s but who needs them when there are book cases worth of fascinating reads. My only suggestion is to have a pool skimmer nearby for the various leaves and insects that occasionally land in the pool throughout the day and make sure to reapply your sun screen. It’s easy to forget when you are surrounded by such beauty. I can’t imagine anyone not enjoying their stay here! Julie was also very responsive and kind. Tennis and pickle ball items available onsite and even thoughtful s’mores making items left out as well as a sparkling berry beverage for guest use. A lovely welcoming touch. Tennis house 10/10.

Here’s to 40 and wine

We booked this property as part of our week in California exploring Yosemite and wine country. The Tennis house a terrific base for wine country. We enjoyed several wineries in Sonoma and Lodi. The house and grounds have so much charm and character that we even decided to just spend one entire day of our vacation lounging by the pool and enjoying our winery purchases. Julie was super easy to work with and the property had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Escape to the Delta

My family had a fantastic time at the Tennis House. We had no problem enjoying ourselves. Roll out of bed into the pool. Play tennis and eat. Then repeat. Walking into town in the heat made us appreciate the air conditioned house and tall trees providing shade throughout the estate. We could have stayed a lot longer. Thank you Julie for hosting.

Perfect getaway

This honestly may have been the best vacation rental we’ve ever had. Upon entry onto the property we were blown away, from the stunning architecture of the house, immaculate landscaping, and the pool and tennis court. As we explored the house, there were so many thoughtful touches from the s’mores hibachi kit, to the book they left for my 4-year old daughter to read at bedtime, to the linen closet stocked with plenty of towels, linens, and even robes! With the security gate, the house feels like a private little oasis. We played tennis every morning, swam all day, made great meals in the well-stocked kitchen and on the grill. Also a plus that the owner was incredibly responsive and kind too. This may well become an annual family tradition for a little getaway from the Bay Area. Highly recommend!!

Love it!

The Tennis House is an absolute delight. The house is well-provisioned with thoughtful details throughout. The kitchen is well-equipped for group cooking and there is a gas bbq outside. The surrounding grounds are fun to explore and yet extremely quiet and relaxing. We swam in the pool and played tennis during the day and had s’mores every night. My nephews had so much fun searching for birds and critters as well as fruit on the fruit trees. Julie is a fantastic host and the surrounding towns of Walnut Grove and Locke are a hoot. There are some gems in this area including antique shops, vineyards, farms and cider tap houses that are well worth exploring. We will absolutely be staying here again.

A peaceful sanctuary for R&R

We absolutely adored this property! It was one of the best house rentals we’ve ever had! It was beautifully decorated with plenty of space to spread out. The grounds were beautifully maintained and my daughter had a blast playing tennis. The home was artfully decorated and appointed with beautiful, yet comfortable furniture. We felt like we were at our own personal retreat! Julie was absolutely wonderful with communication and promptly answered all my questions before and during our stay. We can’t speak highly enough about our experience here and are already considering booking it again in the future.

Amazing property!

We absolutely adored this property! The house, grounds and pool are wonderful and located directly across from the Sac River. We loved how the decor felt like it went so well with the era of the home. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. Julie had great communication and made us feel so welcomed. We really enjoyed exploring Locke, but aside from that, we just wanted to stay in and relax at this fantastic property. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Property

Beautiful getaway

The property is stunning from the decor in the home, beautiful pool and gorgeous gardens. Everything you need is provided requiring you to have a relaxing stay! My family has not had such a relaxing vacation in a very long time, there were even baby bunnies running around in the yard along with hummingbirds and butterflies! We could have just been in luck but it made the beautiful gardens almost enchanted. Communication with the owner was exceptional! We can’t wait to go back !!
