The property consists of 3 acres of private hilltop land and the main home is situated on top. It's midcentury modern and beautifully decorated inside and out for comfort and style.


Master Bedroom: A plush king bed with plush bedding for the best sleep. There are three closets for your belongings, and an attached bathroom for privacy. You can choose to take in the sun through the massive glass door, or black it out with curtain shades. The hand built cabinets hold vintage memorabilia that ties into the rest of the house. There's also a rollaway twin bed in the closet should you need an extra bed!


Guest Bedroom: Two Queen beds side by side with luxurious mattresses and bedding. You can sleep in total silence with the windows closed, or open it all up and let the ocean breeze from the west pass through.


Small Guest Bedroom: A bunk bed with full on bottom and twin on top. Great room for families with children. There’s a desk for laptop friendly workspace and also a glass door for going to the pool quickly. Both guest bedrooms are near the guest bathroom. We provide all basics such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion. This bathroom has a dual-head shower and a window for letting the breeze in.


Guest House: A replica of the main house with same vaulted ceilings and built in cabinetry. A soft queen bed for hitting the snooze button. Your own sink, countertop, fridge and outdoor deck makes this very special. Our guests love staying here! note that the bathroom is detached and is on the exterior of main house.


Office: Perfect for working from home and Zoom meetings. There is a built in large wood desk and a leather chair to get serious work done. The office is attached to a stone paved patio for lounging. The convertible sofa turns into a full bed should you need it!

Pool: Dip in the immense 50,000 gallon pool! Take a moment to sit by the pool and view the sunset to the west while mountain views surround you. Adjacent is an exterior bathroom that makes taking showers after the pool very easy. Be on the lookout for its total midcentury look and feel. Pool can be heated with an energy fee- prices vary with season. please ask about it.


Zen Pond: Soothing waterfall sounds will make you forget busy cities. Breathe in the fresh air and take it all in. The ocean breezes brush past you as you enjoy the pond.


The Gardens: There are several gardens and sitting areas connected by the trails. Discover many rare and exotic ornamental trees, cacti and fruit trees. Within the gardens, you will discover several meditation benches. Take a seat, and let your mind ease.

Beautiful views, comfort and room for everyone in the pool
The home and property was perfect for our extended family to stay together in one place. The main part of the home is all in one level, after a flight of outside stairs from the parking area. The office, in the downstairs of the home, is reached by a flight of interior stairs. The guest house is located downstairs from the home, level with the parking area and has access to an outside bathroom a short distance by climbing upstairs towards the main house. Beds were comfortable and we would return again. The pool was a highlight!!

This is such a grand property! I think of it as a mini Hearst Castle. My aunts loved the trails on the property so they can get their exercise in, while enjoying the garden. It seems like there’s so much to explore inside the home and outside the home. I enjoy relaxing by the pool and listening to the sound of birds chirping. The guest house was perfect for family who wanted more privacy. We all wish we had more time to enjoy the property. The host even gave us some local wine to enjoy!

It was a a wonderful family vacation. On drawback was the difficulty of using the bath in the master suite. It was not comfortable and dangerous to those over eighty.

A Dream Wedding Week Retreat - Almost Perfect!
I had the joy of hosting my bridal party at this mesmerizing VRBO property for our wedding week. The experience was exceptional, though I'd like to share a couple of minor points. The property's allure is undeniable, with breathtaking views and an enchanting atmosphere that made our celebrations magical. However, the guesthouse had some dustiness upon arrival, and lacking a bathroom was slightly inconvenient. A quick pre-guest cleaning and considering bathroom facilities would enhance the stay. Considering our party of ten, a few more bath towels would have elevated comfort. Each guest having two towels would be wonderful. Lastly, the sliding doors in the main house were a bit tricky, causing some amusing struggles. This could be improved for future guests. Despite these tiny hiccups, our stay was captivating. I'd rate the property a 9/10 for its beauty and ambiance. With minor adjustments, it could easily be perfect. I'd gladly return and recommend it to anyone seeking an enchanting escape.

It was perfect. Beds were very comfy and lots of room for everyone. The pool and bbq area were exactly what we were hoping for. The proprty feels secluded and allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves. Was also close to grocery stores and restaurants. The gift basket was a wonderful touch with a nice bottle of wine. We will be back!

Loved This Oasis!
Such a wonderful stay at this property. The host was very helpful and responsive. The home and grounds were beautiful. If you're going during cooler temps, just note there is a $125 pool heating fee. Also, we thought the twin-bed room had two beds, but it's only one (unless we missed a trundle). Regardless, it was a wonderful stay and would HIGHLY recommend!

Almost Paradise
Beautiful...absolutely beautiful landscaping all around this property and a pretty great view, too. The hosts were super responsive and we enjoyed our stay. The only downside were the daily parades of heavy military helicopters overhead that disrupted our peace. Otherwise, we highly recommend this home for its great pool and deck area, seclusion, and spaciousness.

Fabulous experience
Great property with wandering paths and beautiful plants. Three bedrooms in the house and a cute fourth bedroom in guest house just steps outside of wonderful patio and pool. Family thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Heavenly property!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Addy's hilltop haven!. In short, the property is retro stunning. The house itself is roomy and comfortable. The master bath is off one wing, with two bedrooms, a bath, and office off the other. One bedroom is a secluded guestroom with a pond and fountain on the patio. The kitchen has everything you need. The view is gorgeous from every view point! I wish we could have stayed longer! A word of caution: While the property is pet friendly, keep your pets leashed outdoors as there are a few spots where they can get out.

Beautiful and peaceful oasis
This property is a true gem. A relaxing oasis, with so many wonderful amenities and special areas to discover throughout the property. It was a perfect place to have a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend with friends. Communication with the property owner was very easy and helpful, and the instructions left throughout the property were clear and thorough. We will certainly consider coming back in the future.

A mini resort
Not just a place to stay, but a real vacation. Large, spacious house. Lovely natural light. All bedrooms open up to outside. Good sized kitchen, out door bbq that has a fridge. The pool Is A-1. Never needed the heat, perfect. Deep, big. Then loads of outdoor space to wander, stare at the hills. Games to play. Only a mile to stores. Host responded asap to any question. Also detached guest house. Just perfect for a three generation stay and would love to return

This property is so so special. It's wooded, there's a view of the valley, the pool is just lovely, the kitchen (and outdoor kitchen) are well stocked, there's a Breville espresso machine (!) the beds are comfortable at least one of the showers was sooo nice. We want to come back as soon as we can. Five stars across the board.

The pictures are beautiful but this property is even better in person. Addy was great to work with, I would rent this property again in a heart beat! He made sure to check in before we arrived to see how we would like the pool temperature and if we would need anything additional. Very easy to work with and extremely considerate. Great experience all around!

This property is the most unique in all of Fallbrook. It's truly built from the ground up to be a nature focused retreat, with many exotic plants and trees, stone paved pathways, Midcentury architecture and an amazing history. Come and experience the Emerald Bungalow as it's a gem!

What makes this property unique

The pool is so large, they don't make them this big anymore. The view from the back porch is of the awe inspiring boulder covered mountain range. Fallbrook enjoys a micro-climate similar to Tuscany and it's more green and lush than surrounding cities. Enjoy the ocean breeze everyday while being completely immersed with exotic plantlife.
