Beautifully decorated interior is light and airy offering cozy comforts with hardwood floors and warm antiques giving that relaxing California vibe. It is an ideal retreat with multiple comfortable gathering areas including easy beach access just steps away across the street.

Awesome property!

This is a great property! The owner is hands on if you need anything but not overbearing in any way. We’ve stayed at several properties out in the Oxnard/Ventura area and this is by far now one of our favorites. It was VERY clean and had so many fun things to do…bikes, corn hole, beach right across the street, my fav all time vegan cafe, etc. We would stay here again in a heart beat. The only I might say to other renters is that it looks as if this was built as 2 separate rental units, so there’s a kitchen (no oven) bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a small area to watch TV downstairs and upstairs is basically the same along with a beautiful kitchen. If you’re traveling with other families this floor plan might work really well if you want a little space from each other. If you’re looking for a big, fun great room for a crowd this is not the rental for you. Cheers!

Perfect Beach House Experience

This house was absolutely perfect for our stay. The location can't be beat. The house is beautiful and also immaculately clean. Going to the beach with two young kids has never been so easy; the house is so well-stocked with a beach cart, chairs, toys and everything else you could need. Can't wait to come back for another stay!

Great family get away

What an amazing house! Jim was by far very kind and helpful upon our arrival. We were able to walk to the beach every day, there were restaurants and grocery close by. What a perfect location The house was even more beautiful in person with great space for all the family to enjoy.

The Best!

This was our second visit and it gets better every time! This house is gorgeous, well maintained, and stocked with everything you would need and more. The hosts, Jim and Mary, are amazing. Beach Dreams Come True!

Our stay in Jim and Mary's beach home was perfect! Jim personally introduced us to their beautiful retreat, making sure we felt welcome and comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully and tastefully chosen, including a "Better at the Beach" basket of goodies for our family! The classy, yet cozy beach decor was light and serene with plenty of windows and coastal air. Our family of adult children enjoyed bikes and beach toys, and of course, the proximity to the sand! The kitchen was completely stocked with every tool, platter, and serving bowl we could ever need for our large group of 8, as well as dining tables with room for 10! The entire home was so carefully maintained and pristine. We were delighted to enjoy such a perfect spot and our time was truly a blessing! Thank you for sharing your home with us! Great, fully stocked beach house!

This beach house was awesome! Jim was very friendly and helpful in showing us around the house. The beach house was immaculate. There were also lots of beach toys, bikes, wet suits, etc. for us to use. Everything with the house was so well thought out and organized. Great location. Would definitely go back again.

Could Not Have Been Better

This is a lovely home that is extremely well-maintained and perfect for a large family. We had our daughter and her husband with us, who loved the downstairs kitchen (they have a 3 month old and it was nice for them to be able to take care of the baby in the night without disturbing the rest of the family). The main kitchen is truly a chef's kitchen and we just loved our stay here. Could not have been better!

Fabulous!

The adults and kids had so much fun staying in this comfortable beautiful home with easy access to the beach. The home’s amenities were unbelievably great- large kitchen, hot water, comfortable beds, multiple parking and all the equipment for a fun beach experience - boogie boards, wet suits, chairs, umbrellas and buggies to roll everything through the sand for easy set up and an outdoor shower for easy clean up.

Wonderful stay

The location is amazing and the house is wonderful; very clean, stocked with everything you might need for a get away. The separate living spaces made it a great set up for two families. Plenty of parking, which is hard to come by in this neighborhood. Easiest check in/check out process I have experienced. Will definitely stay here again!

Lovely Neighborhood, Close to Beach, Great Hosts

Mary and Jim are excellent property owners who think of everything when it comes to making your stay fun and memorable. Our family of 8 enjoyed using the amenities provided, especially the wetsuits, surf and boogie boards, and outdoor shower. We definitely would stay here again and highly recommend it!

Worth every penny

This house was beautiful, well equipped, clean, and had every amenity possible! The location was perfect. Jim met us to check us in and explained everything and was super nice and easy going! We spent every day at the beach, using boogie boards, bike riding, playing frisbee and basketball, watching movies and hanging out! The house is much larger than the pictures and literally gorgeous. The bonus was the shower. The showers are amazing!!! Thanks for the awesome vacation!

Perfect for two families with teens

The house is awesome! Very clean, well stocked, and comfy. There isn’t quite enough room for us all 7 to lounge together in the living room upstairs, but we made it work. You need to bring your own fire stick to watch tv. We did it through the PS5 we brought bc we didn’t know. The location is great! Steps from the beach. Loved every minute. Thank you!!

Definitely better at the beach!

This home is so special and beautifully appointed......we were very sad to have to leave! If it is available for the dates you want - book it now!! You will not be disappointed! It had everything we needed and the split levels worked out perfectly for us to have a little privacy at times, but meet up in the kitchen & upstairs living room for breakfast/dinner & then relax for a nightly movie or TV show! The proximity to the beach is unbeatable and it's so easy to take chairs and whatnot without feeling like you're lugging stuff forever - I hate that! And the amount of beach supplies that Jim & Mary provide is out of this world!! The beds were super comfortable and everything was very clean and organized. Being a fellow vacation home owner, I am always looking at things like that wherever I stay because it is VERY important to me. Jim & Mary's place was impeccable. Nothing was out of place, no remanences of the guests before, everything was very easy to use & I would 100% stay in this home again every time we are in the area! Speaking of Jim & Mary...they are extremely helpful and so kind! They are the exact kind of hosts you want in a vacation rental because it's obvious they care about their home and that their guests are comfortable. I appreciate their attention to detail and very much look forward to staying with them again!

Great place for a group of friends!

We stayed for a long weekend, the property was fantastic! It was bigger than we thought in pictures, so plenty of space for 8 friends! The house was spotless clean when we arrived with plenty of supplies for our stay (towel, beach stuff). The proximity to the beach was perfect as well! Jim and Mary were very responsive and helpful! Couldn't have been better!

Great coastal getaway

My family stayed in this lovely home over the Christmas Holiday. The hosts were great, the condition of the home pristine and it had all the amenities we could possibly need including cruiser bikes and beach equipment. The beach access across the street was so convenient and we got in a great walk every day. The neighborhood was super friendly and easy access to restaurants and brew pubs. The property made us feel at home. Our favorite rental yet!

Outstanding home and experience with the Owner.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, well-provisioned, updated home with a friendly and responsive owner just steps away from the beach. This is a 5-star experience. Ideal for families or several adult couples. There are some stairs connecting the living spaces that may not be ideal for people with mobility issues, if that's not a concern I would wholeheartedly recommend this property. Our family of 5 (3 teenagers) enjoyed our stay and will definitely look to enjoy the home again with future trips to the area.

Oxnard's own 4 Sesons Resort

This is a most delightful house, comfortable, charming, great location and the kitchen! It made cooking Thanksgiving dinner a joy and I am no cook. My only complaint is that we can't live there year round.

Perfect Weekend

What a great place! We spent 3 fantastic days at "Strada Di Mare" and we couldn't have been happier with the hospitality of Jim and Mary. This is one of, if not the cleanest, properties we've ever been in and pride of ownership is well represented. They have thought of everything for your stay, whether it's a weekend or extended period, you'll not need to bring much other than the desire to relax... Thanks Jim and Mary!
