Why they chose this property
Pat and Susan – known as the ChicksOfValentine – left successful executive careers and are composing a life on the lake, engaging in the KingslandStrong community.
Pat is a charismatic life coach and mentor committed to encouraging the positive transformation of the lives of others. You can learn more about her and watch her two TedX speeches online. Her favorite part of running Valentine is interacting with the diverse guests who make their way to the property, especially the kids she takes on golf cart rides to the donut shop.
Susan is a veteran bridge-builder and negotiator, spending most of her career in journalism and politics. At Valentine, she is focused on the behind-the-scenes details that make for a great guest experience.
The “chicks” tend to a productive chicken coop and a posse of dogs and cats that customers love to interact with. If Pat gets her way, pygmy goats will join the family soon.
