For those chilly mornings the room has heated reclaimed wood floors. If you are interested in relaxing there is a porch with a porch swing and rocking chairs, perfect for a tall glass of sweet tea sipping and just taking in the view of the rolling hills. The room also includes a coffee maker and coffee, a refrigerator and WiFi.
Your stay comes with a locally sourced plated breakfast served at 8:00-9:30am in our on-site dining room. We are happy to accommodate your low fat, restrictive, or vegetarian dietary restrictions. Please give notice when you book your room.
Also we are part of Meadowcroft Farm a 300 acre farm with cattle and sheep. The hill directly behind the inn is a perfect spot lay out a blanket and enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun set or gaze up at the stars.

My husband and I stayed here for one night. We loved the atmosphere, warm welcome, and yummy breakfast! The decor is very period appropriate while still having modern amenities. We are definitely saving this Inn for another visit someday!
This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast, and the Inn at MeadowCroft was asbolutely amazing!! All staff were extremely nice and welcoming. Such a warm, cozy, and relaxing atmosphere. The food was amazing! The character and history of the Inn makes it even more special. Highly recommend!!
Breathtaking rural setting with friendly hosts. We will be back and make this an annual get away. Beautiful, simple, and clean rooms and delicious breakfast.
We had a FABULOUS time staying at the Inn. It was beautiful, spacious, and up-to-date with all the amenities! Chris and Cindy were the most gracious hosts and the breakfasts were delicious! We loved the decor and the privacy of our room. The location of the Inn was perfect for hiking and visiting nearby quaint towns. We’d visit the Inn again in a heartbeat!
The Inn at Meadowcroft provided our first experience of sleeping in a log cabin. It is a cabin with modern conveniences. The room was clean and tastefully furnished. Coffee was provided in the room. I was impressed that the bathroom provided a magnifying mirror for applying makeup.Bill, the owner, is a wealth of information about the Inn and the area. Nine generations of his family have grown up here. It's a short drive to Staunton, so there are plenty of restaurants to choose from for a meal. Breakfast is provided at the Inn.Guests have access to the commons area, which includes dining tables and chairs, a tv, and a fireplace. We were encouraged to take our games there to play after dinner. We're already discussing another trip to the Inn at MeadowCroft, You truly feel as though you are taking a step back in time.
Great experience, very home-like feeling, family oriented, great hospitality! Homestyle morning breakfast was a great start to the day! Fabulous restoration of the old log cabins which retains a warm farmhouse and rustic feel!
The cabin is truly unique and amazing. Of more interest is both the history of the buildings and the owner. The details are perfect. The owner is a modern day encyclopedia on the Staunton area, going back to the 17th century. Remote and very quiet, with a farm over 300 acres, which at one time encompassed most of the surrounding area.
My wife and I visited the area for our anniversary hoping to find peace and quiet. The area's wine culture was the draw for both of us but history was a must have for me which is why I chose Meadowcroft. The greater property was serene and the inn's grounds were quaint without pretension or gimmicks. Bill and Anetha were welcoming and the conversation was never dull. If you want the bustle of the town, Staunton is only is only 15-20 minutes down the road. Without a doubt we will return and bring family/friends.
The description and pictures did not do justice to this Inn! It was fantastic! The staff was on point and Bill made our stay. We look forward to our return to Meadowcroft and would hesitate to send our friends and family here.
I have to say the room and accommodations were even better than we expected! Our room was cozy, clean, and decorated with amazing historical touches. The host was very accommodating and welcoming. The rest of the property was amazing in itself! We went hiking and biking in the area. And, there are plenty of breweries and wineries to choose from. Be sure to visit the Stauton visitor center ... super friendly and filled with knowledge about the history and area attractions!
The owners were amazing and made the stay really enjoyable. My husband loved all the scenery and open farm land. I truly enjoyed my visit here and definitely plan to come back again. My husband even wants to bring other people with us when we can get them together and go again. We hope to stay again next year for our year anniversary ! Can’t wait to come again !! I totally recommend staying here !!!
Everything was perfect! The accommodations, the scenery, the breakfast, the owners…ESPECIALLY THE OWNERS! Thank you so much for everything, Bill and Judie! We will be back very soon!

Misrepresentation
This location's website description is misleading. The references of two cabins infers they are separate buildings to the main inn, when in actuality they are simply rooms on the ground level of the inn.
The Inn at Meadowcroft exceeded my expectations. The owners were extremely friendly, the food was amazing, and the room was gorgeous. This is what all bed and breakfasts should strive to be!
