Wonderful layout

This house has a wonderful layout, with 4 bathrooms, connecting to the bedrooms. There were no condiments of any kind, including salt and pepper, so be sure to bring your own. The unpaved steep roads and driveway were a challenge.

Great getaway

The home is beautiful and a perfect set up for my family. Driveway is very steep. Had to be home before dark, felt the roads were to dangerous to drive at night. Be advised this property does not have access to any amenities with the community.

We'll definitely be back!

The house is just gorgeous with amazing views! It was clean and very spacious. We loved the food truck near the club house. It worked great as a convenient Monday night dinner when we did not feel like cooking. The trails were amazing, especially Big Bald Mountain. We'll definitely be back...

Very Disappointing NYE

We were five couples of friends that wanted to get together and celebrate NYE together. Some drove from South Carolina, Florida and two couples flew in from Maine. The property is located in a great area. The main living area was perfect to accommodate our large group. It was great for our daily game nights. The view is beautiful and we loved watching the large number of deer right in our back woods. Those are all the positive. We were very disappointed to find out the day before check in that the fireplace was not working. This was a big draw as we were looking forward to sitting around a fire with the cool temps. The bathroom towels provided in each room were two bath and a hand towel. No wash cloths or extra towels. The towels seem like they are from the 1980’s. Dark brown, burgundy and very thin, kinda worn out. There was no tissue in the bathrooms. They should not try to save money by providing you with a 3 in 1 bottle of soap. Come on, seriously ?!? The hot water comes and goes as you are taking a shower. It was obvious that very little dusting was done prior to our arrival as there was sitting dust on the bedroom lamps and dresser. The basement bedroom had a musty smell which is not good for someone with allergies. No dish towels were provided. When we went to use a big pot to make chili, we were disgusted with the pot they had. The bottom of the pot was black and had an obvious burnt layer. Pictures available. I do not recommend this rental. For the amount of money we paid, it was not worth it. The house definitely needs updating. Best of luck N.Rebenack

Thanksgiving gathering

My husband and I , our children and grandchildren gathered for thanksgiving for the first time in years and your home was the perfect place for it. The accommodations were perfect , everyone had their own spaces. The main living area was large enough to accommodate 11people without feeling crowded. The only issue we had is that the fireplace was not operable. I personally thought they had enough time to repair it before our arrival since I was told in September that it was inoperable , they had more than 2 months to get it fixed. Other than that our stay there was great!

Neat, relaxing mountainside property

The property was exactly as described - full tank of gas for the grill, plenty of rooms and space, comfortable amenities, and perfectly located for a quiet retreat. The remote for the gas logs didn't seem to work, and we weren't able to locate replacement batteries, but this had little bearing upon our experience. Would absolutely rent again.

Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin on Wolf Laurel very much. There was plenty of space for our family to stretch out and the cabin was well equipped for what we needed. We all enjoyed the board games closet immensely during our stay. The first night we discovered a couple of fans were not working and the property manager was quick to respond and get that worked out. The only real issue we had was with the trash can not locking and a bear visited it multiple days. We didn't realize it was broken at 1st but when we did we communicated the issue. Would definitely recommend. Although the driveway is quite precarious to back in and out of so be careful of that.

Nice cabin/house in the mountains

The house is in a beautiful area 25 minutes from Ashville. The area is beautiful and wildlife is seen everywhere. Has almost everything you could need for your stay. Here are some things to think about or be aware of; easement road to property is gravel/dirt, the property is large with many rooms but few towels and moderately clean, no air conditioning (90 degrees) when we were here, fireplace doesn't work and flume is capped so not sure when it worked last, the deck is facing a valley and if a few trees could be trimmed then you could see the million dollar view. All in all it is a nice large place that could hold 10-12 people pretty comfortably. Nice place to stay!!!

Mountain Escape

The house is beautiful and spacious. The check-in process with security, as the house is in a gated community, was hassle-free. My suggestion is to use your GPS to get to Wolf Laurel Security, not the house address. Once you are through security, use the owners' written directions to get to the house. Do be cautious of the driveway at the house. It is very steep and graveled. If you have a larger vehicle, back down the driveway because there is little space to turn around. Lower vehicles can park at the top of the driveway. Overall, it was a peaceful and pleasant stay!

Great secluded family getaway

Beautiful and peaceful location with a well maintained house. Cell phone service was no good though and having to deal with the guard station(gated community) was frustrating. Our visiting family wasn't granted access at the gate and they couldn't call us to let us know. We also had to wait several times to gain access at the gate even though we had registered and had a visible guest pass. But the house itself was lovely and we enjoyed our stay! I definitely would recommend staying there as long as you are aware of the patience required with the guard station.

Wonderful Stay at Wolf Laurel

My family (wife and two 7 yr olds) absolutely loved this house. Beautiful, peaceful location, secluded enough to feel like you were completely isolated from the outside world, but close enough to 19 & 26 to make it easy to venture around. The house itself is huge inside, enough space to fit about quadruple the amt of people we had! Very cozy, clean, comfortable environment with fireplaces on both levels added to our relaxation and experience. We’ll definitely be back. Definitely follow the directions to the property provided when booking as our phone gps and suv gps took us all over the Wolf laurel cc property when in fact the house is extremely simple to find!
