Dirty and Disappointing
Firstly, the house was dirty and not cleaned properly. The floors were so dirty that they left our feet and socks BLACK. The sponge that was left in the sink to use, was disgusting (used and worn out). There was a dirty piece of clothing left shoved in the cushions of the couch. There was a dirty piece of clothing left outside on the back patio. Some of the towels stunk, were stained, and were very clearly worn out. The wall in the master bedroom restroom had, what appeared to be, feces smeared on the wall. There were items left underneath the beds from previous guests. The carpet in the room with bunkbeds was extremely dirty. Some of the decorative pillow in the living room had old dried fluids on them. The house was overall, very dirty. The garage also reeked of cat urine. Therefore, we did not utilize the garage at all due to the stench. Secondly, the washer and dryer did not work properly inside of the house. This was a HUGE inconvenience since we had family from out of state, and we booked the house for an entire week. This leads into my third point: the response time from the host was horrible. We reached out to the host during our stay to let them know that the washer and dryer were not working (again, HUGE INCONVENIENCE since we booked the house for an entire WEEK) and we did not receive a response until after we checked out - 2 whole days later. A response time of 2 days (after we checked out) is very inconvenient. Overall, we will not be staying here again.
