Breath taking views of the Buffalo River Valley and 5 minutes from Ponca!! What more can we say? Buffalo View Cabin, sits on a 6th generational farm, in the Upper Buffalo River area. Here you will find yourself getting to experience "tiny home living!" It's an unique experience like camping but with luxury and all the extras. This cabin is rugged and rustic and the interior is made out of 75% recycled materials, much of it rehabbed from local barns. This "Little" cabin can sleep 8 people and has *WiFi*. Private room with a Queen bed and tv, 2 loft areas (Queen bed and 2 Twins), and a hide-a-bed (Full) in the living area-with a beautiful view of the Ozarks! There is a fully functioning kitchen-oven and stove top, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, some pots/pans, utensils, etc.... Outside you will find a large fire-pit with a covered grilling (charcoal) and picnic area that overlook the Buffalo River Valley. This cabin sits right in the middle of Ponca and the Compton Trailhead (both about 5-8min away!) *Sanitized, Bleached, Contactless Check-In, Rural Area(Social Distance Recommended), Beautiful Views!

Note: The Upper Buffalo Area is still a very rural area. Things like WiFi and cell service are a luxury and sometimes may be spotty. On the mountain there is sometimes extreme weather conditions-high winds and occasional icing at odd times. Fall and Winter get ice and snow. Also Buffalo View is on a working farm that grows hay and occasionally grazes livestock.

Great Getaway

This was our Second time to stay at this beautiful property. This is a sweet, clean and very comfortable cabin. The nights were clear and the stars were very visible because there is minimal light pollution in this area. This was our second stay here and it will not be our last!

Great Place!

This tiny home was exactly what we were looking for! It was secluded but close enough for the trails and the river. We ate every meal at the tiny home the kitchen was well stocked. We loved the fire pit and was able to see every star! It was an amazing trip and we will definitely be back!

Weekend trip

Beautiful and perfect for a weekend getaway or week long trip. So nice and cozy and plenty big enough for several couples! It was so easy to call the owner for help, he was very available and so personable. We will definitely be coming back to this property soon.

Great Getaway

We had such a great experience staying here! Check in and out was super easy. Clark was available for questions and updates. Location is great is kayaking and hiking. The entrance is a little precarious; it’s STEEP. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing getaway!

Being able to let loose and let kids run around freely and being able to see the stars. It was an amazing weekend. Kids even got to see some elk. Will definitely be back.

Birthday getaway

Celebrated me and my boyfriend birthday with a road trip here to get away from the stress of life, hike and see some beautiful waterfalls! Enjoyed the coziness of the cabin and the cute set up outside around the fire pit! Got visited by a cute armadillo while relaxing around the fire. It was very peaceful and relaxing here!

Awesome little place to stay. Incredible views. Peaceful area. Fit our family of 4 perfect. We used this as a hub for climbing at horse shoe canyon ranch which was a 20 minute drive. Would stay here again. Has everything you need. Clark is extremely responsive and accommodating.

Perfect Weekend Away

This was the perfect weekend to get away from our phones and re-enjoy nature. The view of the stars at night was great and even though it was just my boyfriend and I, this place could surprisingly fit 8 as described. Will be recommending it to my friends in NWA.

Our family has been in Arkansas since 1819 and settled the Upper Buffalo River Valley in the 1830's. They settled in the Ponca and Boxley area, where much of our family still resides today.
Buffalo View Cabin sits on our families 6th generational farm. We live close by and are farmers and ranchers in the area. Our farm borders the Buffalo National Park to the South, with great views of the Upper Osage Watershed area and Buffalo River Valley. For many years we have wanted to find a way for others to enjoy the natural view of the Upper Buffalo area too. Finally, our dreams have come true and we have been blessed with the opportunity to share this experience with others. We wanted to give others an experience that was different than the average home or cabin. That's why we decided to go with the "Tiny Home Experience." We wanted to provide an unique experience that was like camping but with luxury and all the extras. We hope you enjoy your stay and get that tiny home camping feeling without having to rough it too much!! :)
