We booked Las Razes because we wanted to bring our children and grandchildren away to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. The house and rooms are beautifully laid out with ample space to be together or find some peace apart. There are several places to sit and soak up the weather and country side, indeed there are 3 different seating areas for the whole family to sit together. Our days were spent at markets, small surrounding towns, kayaking and relaxing by the pool. The weather was faultless, so good that we were entertained every morning whilst breakfasting (fresh croissants from the boulangerie down the road) by the French National Parachute Team practising at the nearby airfield.
The swimming pool is fantastic and can be seen from the above balconies, the grandchildren had hours of fun in and out of the water, darts, jigsaws, board games, table tennis and snooker are all there to be played.
Anna and Robert are there when you need them and invisible when not, they're full of local knowledge and tips for days out. We couldn't recommend the property highly enough if you're looking for a large retreat that appeals to everyone.
