Love this Beach House

The house is called The Salty Mermaid and this is the second year in a row that we have stayed at this location. The home is open and airy and has the best views of the ocean. The home was clean and they supplied us with everything we needed to get us started for our vacation. The BEST part of our stay this year was the discovery of three baby owls in the third bay of the parking area. We loved seeing them every day and watching their mom bring them food. We will stay here as long as this home is available to rent. Thank you Cobb Realty for taking such good care of us.Alecia

Salty Mermaid for the Christmas Vacation win

Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for us, great space, awesome views, fenced yard for the dogs (beware of stickers), well stocked kitchen, excellent covered areas to hang out, and could pull our ATV in at night under the house. We had one minor issue (broken air mattress) Cobb staff had it resolved and a replacement to us in a couple of hours. Excellent customer service! This was hands down the cleanest most well kept rental property I've ever stayed in.

Wonderful!!

Beautiful home. Easy beach access and wonderful views from the deck. Home is furnished very tastefully and has everything you will need for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed being able to pull our truck in the garage at night and our dogs loved the huge backyard. Can’t wait to return. It’s the perfect beach retreat!!

Clean Beautiful Rental

Property was very clean, close to the beach and the porch below was a really nice place to hang out after a day at the beach. I would have liked the beds made with the sheets instead of us having to make-up all the beds. Also, make sure you bring toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels. We had a wonderful time, and we would definitely rent from them again.

Lovely Beachfront home… bring items with you!

Lovely home very close to the beach and a joy to stay in for our family and dogs. However, “reread the contract” before you go! No paper towels, Toilet paper, hand soap, sponge, trash bags, dish or laundry detergent provided which seem like basic necessities. A bit frustrating. Rent a golf cart too and the beach gives you access to side streets.

Restful Retreat

Had a great week long stay here. Loved the proximity to the water and quick access to the beach. Loved being able to watch the dolphins and enjoyed quiet mornings. The place was clean and comfortable.

Awesome stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Salty Mermaid! It was very clean, all the amenities we could ask for, and a wonderful fenced-in yard for our dog. The weather wasn’t great the week we were there but we still enjoyed our location right on the beach with daily walks. The only thing we can suggest is a better grill. We would have cooked out had there been a decent grill. We would highly recommended this property!

The house sits second row with no obstruction to the beach so you are far away enough from the private beach but can still hear the saves. From the balcony you can see the beach but not so much the people. The house is beautifully furnished so i feels like home. You feel secure as you pull your car under the house and close he garage door and has a fenced in area for the pups. Be ware of the sticker burs. We will definitely be back.
