Pros and Cons
Hello everyone. I like to write as honest a review as possible. The house itself is wonderful, well-designed, the indoor/outdoor showers are fabulous, and there is plenty of space. The island and chairs in the kitchen are works of art. Ernie, the owner, is a friendly, laid-back guy who takes pride in his property. The house is located between Nosara and Sámara which is great if you want to explore both areas. The beach of Playa Garza is a quick walk, and it's a quiet beach which is nice, but not always good for swimming depending on the tide. There are places to walk/swim out that aren't full of rocks, so be sure to research that using an app. There are cons, and the main one is noise. The neighborhood is filled with dogs that bark at all hours of the night. One night a dog went on for two hours straight. Another night the barking started at midnight and lasted until after 5am. There was no peaceful sleep. Right next door, another house is being built. Construction noise started at 7am (including radios) and lasted until 5pm. It's a shame. If it weren't for the noise, we would rent this house again. Also, be careful as some mornings workers were in the yard unannounced right near the windows and you wouldn't want to be caught dressing.
