Kitchen was disgusting! Rat droppings everywhere! Please do not stay here until issue is fixed! Couldn't use Kitchen because of them also in the downstairs bedroom.
We were headed to TN for hiking with our two teen boys and dogs and this cabin was the perfect location for all our planned hikes. The boys loved having lots of room the sprawl and the loft made a great master for my husband and me. The balcony views were perfect for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The well stocked kitchen made all our meals easy, too. Thank you for a great New Year’s getaway!
Overall great place to stay in area. Quick access to Brimstone trails, gas station or restaurants. Cabin has large gravel parking lot, plenty of space, great water pressure and awesome views. We had a great time and will book again when we come back to Brimstone.
Our guys had a nice stay here while they were in the area for work. The host was easy and great to work with. We will stay here again if we have more work close by!
Need to clean better, new grill it’s burnt up. We wanted to cook steak on the grill. Need to put a picnic table under the shade tree. I no about cleaning company’s myself. We did have a great time oh I forgot that water was way to high needs turn it down.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The house is comfy and well stocked. The location was great for our adventures and the host were great.
We would absolutely stay here again
we had to fix a leaky shower upstairs that leaked through the ceiling . We had to fix the sink in the kitchen that was leaking into the floor.. we had to fix two doors I will not be back to this location.
This was by FAR the worst experience I have ever had with any rental or hotel. The cabin was ok from the outside but the real nightmare started when you walked in the door. Everything looked pieced together and appeared to be huge safety and fire hazards all around. The downstairs to the basement, or the dungeon as we called it were AWFUL. From basement to the top floor loft EVERYTHING was covered in dog hair. All of the sheets in the cabin were filthy with one sets having greasy stains along with dog hair that smelt of body odor. The bed on the first floor had fallen apart and there was no support in the middle so you sunk in like an huge crater leaving my husband no choice but to fix it in order to sleep. The downstairs floors creaked so bad that if you walked in the middle of the night it woke everyone up. Also such an awkward layout, and nothing like the photos we saw when we booked. Now on to the upstairs “loft.” You have to walk up some make shift stairs then walk over a make shift walk way to get to the loft which moves and looks like it’s going to fall at any time. The bathroom in the loft stank so bad of urine. The upstairs shower also leaked water right over the stove preventing anyone from using the kitchen sink or stove to cook. The pipes under the kitchen sink weren’t even connected so water literally just went everywhere. None of the light switches worked like they should. Management stated the owner was aware of all of it so obviously just did not care.

Access to brimstone was great from this property only a couple mile ride into the park. The size of the house fit our groups needs but I would recommend hand showers for the upstairs & basement showers, a light over the stove would be nice & maybe newer mattresses. We would stay there again.
Great location and cabin for exploring Big South Fork Recreational Area and other hiking opportunities nearby. Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home with us!
Great location, private, quiet neighborhood. About 15 min ride on ATV to brimstone access. If your planning on cooking for more than 2 people you will need an extra frying pan and cooking utensils, there is just one skillet, but all in all it served the need. Best bed is in the. Basement, balcony bed is good for a single or a couple who don’t mind sinking to the center. Great fire ring, grill, and shed for a ATV out of site. We enjoyed and would gladly book again.
I am so glad that i stumbled upon this place. It was far away enough from all the noises, equipped for everything, just bring your food and that's it. The cabin has an amazing view and I felt safe. Will Hopefully go back!
We tried to cook meals in kitchen and ants was on counter top and sink, crawling up walls in crowds like marching military people. We went to town a purchased and poison it helped a little . We contacted owners and nobody showed up to spray. Even had ants in the main floor bathroom crawling on our tooth brushes.
Stayed in May 2023. Had 3 trucks with trailers, we were all able to park easily. Perfect place for 3 couples, we all had privacy. We were able to access the trail to Brimstone easily, a little further than expected but was still ok.
Rented this house because we wanted to ride Brimstone. Came from New York and the house was perfect. Plenty of parking for the truck’s and trailer’s, trail heads a few miles down the road and easy access to stores and gas station. The biggest + was we were able to bring our 2 dogs and the yard was fenced in. Will definitely be returning.
