About this property
Arles, une maison de poupée à la Roquette
Simplify your life in this central and peaceful home. The house, located in the lively Roquette district, awaits you in a quiet street near the Place Paul Doumer with its cafés and terraces. Shops, restaurants, museums, everything is within walking distance.
The house is typical of the Roquette, all in height. The main rooms are bright and overlook the most flowery street in Arles.
The entrance is through the kitchen where meals can be served to six people. The kitchenware includes a Nespresso coffee machine. The second floor consists of a double bedroom and an independent shower room. The second floor is an office that can also be another bedroom. One person can sleep comfortably on a 90x190 bench that can be transformed into a 160x190 double bed if needed. Accessible by a staircase, a mezzanine where the day enters through a skylight, can be used as a work space when it is not too hot. Behind a curtain, an ironing board, a clothesline, an iron and bedding are stored.
The house's toilet is located on the first floor and on the mezzanine. The house is ideal for two people for a long period of time, and is suitable for 3 or 4 people for periods of less than five days.
On site, you will be welcomed by Marie, a purebred Arlesian who knows all the well-kept secrets of this territory and who will be at your entire disposal to help you discover her Camargue!
It offers you unusual activities and experiences so that you can make the most of your stay in the Camargue.
She is also at your disposal if you wish to organize a special event during your holidays, a birthday, a marriage proposal... she will make everything come true, even your wildest dreams!
The city and its activities
The house located in the heart of the center will allow you to discover and visit this Roman city steeped in history evolving between tradition and modernity.
Arles hosts many festivities throughout the year Funny Christmas in December, the famous feria in April and September, international meetings of photography during the summer... not to mention the traditional Provençal events that punctuate life of the Arlesians.
You will also have the chance to discover the brand new Luma Tower created by Frank GEHRY.
Just a few steps away are Place Paul Doumer as well as the very lively streets of the district where you will enjoy the prettiest shops and atypical restaurants.
The Camargue
It is appreciated for its climate, its calm, its wild beaches and the richness of its culture, its fauna and its flora.
Departing from the village of Salin-de-giraud or just a few km away, you have access to many activities: unusual horseback riding, kitesurfing, 4*4 safari, canoeing, electric mountain biking, fishing, excursions with a naturalist guide , visit of the saltworks... and for the less sporty you can simply enjoy the sun and idleness on the beaches of Beauduc and Piémanson.
The Camargue is also famous for its history and its way of life. Salt and organic rice are produced there, Camargue bulls and horses are raised there.
Life is punctuated by bullfighting activities in the arenas and village festivals, ideal for having a good time with family, lovers and friends.
Welcome to this little paradise!
