The lake was very peaceful and gathering my family on the water was what we were looking for. The cottage itself wasn’t really what I expected, it had a musty smell when we walked in, and it was outdated. The air conditioner worked great though!
The property was great. The cottage was great everything was as expected. Would definitely stay again close to international speedway where we spent most of our time. But we’ll worth it . Good communication with owners thank you
We had an amazing time. Great cottage on a quiet lake. Had everything needed. Gas grill, floaties, picnic table. Beds were very comfortable. Great firepit. Harris Dr is very deceiving driving to the house. Some are not well kept. But this one is. We would definitely go back.
This place was quaint and beautiful. It was nice for a small family of six but we were able to work it out with 6 adults. They had most of the important items for a kitchen and bathroom but didn’t have a microwave. They also had safety items for the lake. We had a great time!
My family and I had a great time at this cute little cottage. The lake was beautiful and very active on the weekend. Aletta was wonderful and easy to communicate with throughout the entire check in and check out process. The only complaint I have would be the temperature. It was August so it was expected to be hot but the small window AC was off when we arrived at 3pm and all the windows and doors were open so it was 85 degrees in the cabin. We did end up using the window unit and covering the windows the next day so it was cool when we slept at night. If we didn't have our 1 year old with us it would have been fine but she was just too hot to sleep well that first night. Our daughter also had a runny nose anytime we were inside for more then a few hours (it cleared up when we went outside) so we ended up leaving early to avoid another night of sniffles.
Other then that our stay was truly great! I wouldn't recommend if you have really small children but older kids would love it! I would stay again when our kiddo gets a little older.
We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the home. The lake is very shallow which we liked with our little ones. We had great time and the kids loft was just perfect for our kids.
This was the perfect family getaway! Chuck & Aletta were very helpful & accommodating. We had a lovely time at this beautiful vacation home, I would highly recommend it!
This was a great place for a quiet, relaxing, and no-frills getaway. The cottage is as advertised with the highlight being the deck and great views and access to Sweezey Lake. Aletta and Chuck were fantastic and flexible hosts and communication was great. Storms knocked out power the day of our arrival and Aletta gave us regular updates and quickly refunded the first night when we pushed our stay back a day. Highly recommend if you're looking for a peaceful stay!

We have loved our lake cottage but we cannot be there everyday of the season so we decided to share it with others to enjoy it. It's a great getaway that is fun, relaxing and therapeutic. A front row seat for beautiful water and sunset views.
