The house is the perfect house for any outdoorsman/sportsman. Has great household accommodations! Easy excess to both the interstate and also a lot of fishing/wildlife
Had a great time in Medina. House was really nice and well maintained. Owner communicated via text immediately when we needed, super helpful and friendly!
We are a group of duck hunters and this place is perfect for our trip to north dakota. Has was setup perfectly and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Scott was an excellent host and communicates flawlessly
We stayed at the big Gun property as it was in the region our family has a farm. The accommodations were clean and good. The upstairs gets quite hot and the cable TV was not functioning. I certainly would recommend this property to others.
Have plenty of space at spread out. Nice garage space. On site laundry is a need for duck hunting and nice that they provide some detergent and dryer sheets . Nice kitchen and grill. Also new this year was a stainless steel cleaning table.

The property was just what we were looking for after a long day of travel. We had a quiet, relaxing stay.
Love the owner Scott is one of the best to communicate with he is always available to talk to I have rented with him for three years this year 3 weeks so far
Scott is great to rent from place always clean has all the amenities you need for a vacation I have 3 weeks booked for this year already and will continue to stay here
Stayed for a a few days while fishing the lakes north of Medina. Very cozy and comfortable beds. Scott was very responsive and courteous. Will stay again if need be.
My buddies and I stayed at this property and it was exactly what we needed for a weekend to fish! The property was clean and could accommodate a house full of guys ready to fish. Scott was very accommodating and super responsive. There was a large area in the garage that we could clean our fish and close to the great lakes. I would recommend this property to everyone!
Great experience, clean house with everything you need for a hunting or fishing trip. Owners are easy to contact and helpful.
Clean and comfy. 2021 was my 2nd time staying here and I'll be back for sure!
Very nice accommodations for a hunting stay. Beds clean and comfortable. Deep freezer for your birds. Scott is always easy to get in touch with. Highly recommend. I only wish the garage was heated for the dogs, but not a big deal.
The place is absolutely set up for hunters. We had six guys and did not fill crammed. The out door space is great. The only thing we thought was missing was a fire pit.
Newly re-done. Clean, comfortable, convenient. Really easy to live in. Well supplied kitchen; even the garage was clean. Continued upkeep: new garage door installed while we were there. Medina was a wonderful surprise: great, friendly people, little local stores with surprising variety of supplies, excellent little cafe; bar & grill; & gas station/coop. It’s really worth getting to know. Jamestown is easy ½ hour drive with everything we needed, except a Walgreens. Couple good grocery stores. Scott was immediately responsive and very easy to work with. We had a really good time.
Very nice house and very clean will make reservations for next spring

About the host
Hosted by Scott Forrest
We are a group of friends that love the outdoors. After coming to Medina, ND for several years we decided it was time to make it our home away from home. Yes we could have purchased some where closer to home but there was no where we found that offered what this little town and state has to offer. We are avid waterfowl hunters and loved the area and abundance of wildlife.
This house was purchased so that we can share that love with friends and family for years to come.
Why they chose this property
This house is in the middle of the small town of Medina, ND and is convenient for all outdoor adventures. When searching for a house to buy this one seemed to jump out as the perfect one. It is close to the café, bakery, meat market, and has great neighbors.
What makes this property unique
Small yet spacious house has plenty of room for the entire family. This house is perfect for our families to gather during the fall hunting seasons or for fishing in the spring and summer.
