I liked the back patio, but unfortunately did not have an opportunity to use it. It would have been nice to have directions for the outdoor firepit and grill. The patio has a level entry for wheelchair access from the driveway.
On the listing, it would be very helpful to say "shower only." It was hard to bathe our littles when they are used to baths. This makes for very unpleasant bath times.
Also, we ran out of toilet paper and could not find any spare rolls. Toilet paper is an essential item!
Dirty dishes, ants and dog hair everywhere. We didn’t know unit was in basement and smelled damp and heavy dog smell. Found out there was no air conditioning and it was over 80 degrees. One bedroom window faced street and no curtain or shade. Air purifiers had dirty filters so we had to clean them before they worked. Keurig coffee maker said descaling so we had to do that so it would work. Patio was dirty and grill was very dirty. Weeds everywhere and lots of spiders and garbage. Difficult to park as there were cars blocking part of driveway.
Beds were comfortable and rain shower head was great.
This unit needs updating and much better cleaning. Should have A/C or fan for both bedrooms and living room.

There were fleas
I'm a case manager for mentally disabled adults, and two of my clients needed to be out of their house for a few days, and their caregivers and I thought this would be more fun for them than a hotel. A caregiver took them there and immediately found fleas on the couch. They ended up having to stay in a hotel, and since it was on such short notice, we had to choose the hotel based on what was open, not on what would be good for our clients. I told the homeowners about the issue, and by the end of that day, they said that they'd spent several hundred dollars on cleaners (that really doesn't add up), denied the existence of fleas, and accused my caregivers of making things up. My caregiver has absolutely no reason to invent things. It incredibly disappointing that my residents are both out more than $300 because the homeowners had bugs in their furniture. They didn't deserve any of this. We didn't have high standards, but this VRBO managed to not hit them. Homeowners are probably going to respond to this saying that I'm inventing things since they seem to have done that to another reviewer. If you manage to rack up a cleaning bill of several hundred dollars in one day, then you need new cleaners. Anyone looking to rent should keep searching.

Basement in Bremerton
The hosts were very quick to respond to any message I sent. The property was fairly nice, although the bathroom was very small. The only real complaint I had was that a heater that was controlled from the upstairs rental made the downstairs almost unbearably warm.
