Perfect location in Bas du Fort
Small appartment, ground level, with one room (living + bedroom in one), well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with laundry. Table and chairs are on the veranda. Very practical, very well situated. Grocery store nearby. Reasonably quiet.

Misrepresented
We were permitted to enter the premises after waiting outside for 45 minutes beyond the check in time. Upon entry we learned that the owner was critical of the previous tenants for not refilling the bottles and jugs with water because, as it turns out - there was no water in the suite. Despite this fact, we were being charged full price! When we remarked about the filthy condition of the kitchen etc., we were told that the lack of water was the cause. It appears that this is the normal situation in this location. The water did return for a time the next morning. Beware! This host does not appear to care about providing his guests with a positive experience. Fortunately, VRBO gave us a refund and we found a beautiful location with wonderful hosts for the same price.
