Great apartment and location

Really well designed and equipped apartment, comfortable for our 9 day ski trip for a family of 4. Ski access across the street. Not modern but has everything you need and more, washing machine, lots of hanging space, shelving etc. Beds firm, which we like! Reasonable level of cleanliness and view of mountains from big windows.

Badly let down by dishonest property manager

The apartment is spacious and comfortable, well appointed although a little dated, and is conveniently located for the pistes and in a quiet block in a peaceful part of Lavachet. Communication with the host was great - she was really helpful. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of the property manager, who we never met, failed to follow the owner’s process for accessing the keysafe (instead leaving the apartment unlocked with keys in the apartment), not bothering to contact us prior to departure, and then despite us leaving the apartment spotless (indeed much cleaner than on arrival) she claimed she needed to clean. The apartment on arrival had food crumbs on the draining board, dust on the floors, the beds had not been vacuumed under for a long time and there were cobwebs on the ceilings, all of which we rectified as well as leaving the apartment spotless, If you are happy to accept a terrible service from the property manager, who clearly lied to the owner about the cleaning to earn a fee for not cleaning, then book this apartment, as until a few hours after departure our experience had been good. However if you want the reassurance you are being well looked after, welcomed, checked in and out by a trustworthy property manager, then avoid.

Very good appartment

Nice appartment. Very helpful and friendly landlady. Ski slope is just across the street.
