This home away from home is great for your next family vacation or fishing excursion. Just a block from beach access, its perfect for your late night stroll, or your morning run.

Located in the heart of Port Aransas there is something to do around every corner. Great restaurants and shopping is only the beginning. Sail away on a pirate ship aboard the Red Dragon! Make your own pottery at Fire It! Deep sea fishing trips at Fisherman's Wharf. If adventure isn't for you, rent a golf cart and cruise the beach to visit the jetty/piers or around the island to a local establishment to enjoy live music or shopping. At the end of the day, relax and have a whale of a time at any of the local restaurants.

Have more time? Take a short drive to Corpus Christi and check out the Texas State Aquarium, The USS Lexington, Hurricane Alley Water Park and Whataburger Field.

Port A rental

The outside was great, although the pool was very cold. The inside was dark, dingy and smelled musty. It appeared that the bed in the master bedroom had just been slept in and the comforter just pulled up to make the bed. I washed the sheets, etc. immediately upon arrival. Bought a sheet to cover the old pullout sofa in the living room and put all the sofa pillows in clean pillowcases to use. Someone left a pair of shoes under the dining room table. I also replaced the shower curtain liner because it was sloughing off the build up of something. There was no place to put clothes so my husband used the 2nd bedroom bed as his "closet" and I moved a little side table from the basement bedroom to use in addition to my suitcase. Location is good---easy walk to the beach and like I said at the beginning, the outside is great. Hopefully, the inside will be updated to match, but until that time, this rental is over-priced.

The place was nice. Loved the pool even though it was a bit dirty and was expecting the umbrellas that were shown in the pictures but none were there. Also the pictures showed a corn hole game that was not there either. The only thing that was really upsetting was the smell in the house. It smelled very musty. Had to buy a candle that didnt help very much. The downstairs bedroom had the same bad smell but way worse. Also, bring your own toilet paper only two rolls supplied for the whole weekend for 5 people.

Port Aransas winter home away from home

We spent the winter and really enjoyed our stay! We would definitely stay here again. The house is close to restaurants, shopping and the beach for people that enjoy walking. We had friends and family stay with us part of the time. There are nice outside seating areas. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. It was great to have an extra bathroom and laundry downstairs even though they were not accessible from inside. We didn’t use the downstairs bedroom much; it could use some work. We were also glad pets were not allowed. Sadly, it was too chilly during our stay to use the pool, but hope to if we get to come again.

Great getaway

This place was amazing it was right where everything was happening. Alot of room lots to do pool was amazing. Bottom room could use some work other than that definetly recommend for a family that has 5+ people

GREAT VACA

We really loved this property ..very clean..great area close to the beach..beautilful pool... only thing is I didnt pay attention to amenities and didnt notice towels were not included so bring bathroom towels and extra toilet paper we had 1 roll in each of the bathrooms for 3 days (maybe its the covid scare lol) ITS A MUST STAY KIND OF PLACE

Needs work!

Arrived at our check in time to the house keeper who not professional. No shoes slurring her words and thought she lost our keys. The floors were dirty and felt as if maybe our sheets were not clean. House had a private room with access from the patio and access to inside the house which I was not aware of and we could not access the room. The ceiling fan in the dining area and the living area would not work. Contacted them to let them know and said they would send somebody out which they never did. Pool was nice but also could not get the pool lights to work.

Great Pool!

House is a little older but clean and management was great! Pool was new and very private! Kids had a great time! The large area underneath the house was great for shade day! So close to the beach !

Amazing Rental

Me and my family had enjoyed this rental property so much. The location is amazing. It is so close to the beach and is so nice and clean. The yard is amazing and we loved that you can pull the golf cart in every night and close the gates and no one can mess with your stuff. The privacy is amazing and being able to use the washer and dryer is awesome. We will 100% be renting this property again.

Very disappointed

Fridge was dirty on the inside, grass was tall, roaches were everywhere, and bugs were found under the bed sheets. Property renters were not friendly or helpful when we called and asked for someone to come clean. Will never stay here again.

Great location for a family get away.

Overall, very pleased with the stay this week. Plenty of room to spread out and great layout. We loved the yard and the house had pretty much everything we needed. Bring a blender but really, that's all. Great location for everything. Heated outdoor shower was a nice surprise. 4 stars , only because the spiral staircase was gone. Would have liked to check out the deck view from there. Not a deal breaker though. Super close to beach, and would likely book again for a long weekend. Nothing fancy, but everything needed for a great time.

Lots of room, Great Location

We went for a fishing trip. Really liked all the space, especially the fenced in yard with bbq pit and fish cleaning station. The interior is a little dated but clean. AC worked great. Beach access very close. Had a great time and would return for sure.

Port A Expose 2012

Thanks so much for sharing your home with us. The lay out is fantastic. A great time was had by all. It is in a great location. Easy access to the water and to town. Thanks for taking care of the key problem so quickly. The house was clean upon arrival. The grass could have been mowed 1 time while we were there but it was okay. Mosquitos didn't bother us. I would definetly recommend this house to a family or group having 8-10 people. The downstairs bedroom was great for those not wanting to negotiate the stairs.Look forward to staying with you in the future.
