Stunning Views & Exellent Location!
Wow! what an amazing view. We loved our stay at this Menehune Shores condo. It is very well equipped & the facilities at the resort are excellent. The rooftop area is just magic to watch the sunsets. Sande and Bob are great hosts, & provided everything we needed for our stay. There's a full sized refrigerator, dishwasher & everything you would need in the kitchen should you wish to cook every night. If not, the dining options get better as you drive further North toward Wailea. We dined at Duo at the Four Seasons for a treat, it was excellent & not as expensive as you might think. Akamai Coffee next door to 'Jack in the Box' is REALLY good, make sure you get a Cinnamon Scroll ~yum~ the staff there are very friendly. Be sure to visit the Maui Brewing Co which is just a 5 minute drive from the condo. There were games to play and you can sit outside, order a meal from the food trucks & look at the lovely view across to Kaho'olawe. Actually the location of this condo is very central & its very easy to get onto the highways, where you can go & explore every corner of the island. We took Sande's advice & hired a rental vehicle . We had no trouble finding our way around. We used the pool area once (as we did encounter rainy days during our stay in their winter) but spent most of our time exploring the island. The beach walk north of Menehune Shores is very pretty and there are plenty of safe places to swim along this beachfront. We also took the Ocean Adventure snorkel tour to Molokini Crater. Even though it rained, the snorkeling is amazing & is a 'must-do' on the island. We saw whales, dolphins & turtles on our trip. In fact there's a turtle family living right in the Hawaiian fish pond right out the front of the condo! WE loved our stay on Maui & would not hesitate to recommend this condo!
