About this property

ISLAND VIBES 2.0 has been recently updated with a modern beachy feel. This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom stilt home has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, shiplap, vinyl flooring, tiled bathrooms and a breakfast bar. There is a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, free private Wi-Fi, cable tv, towels, linens and plenty of room to relax. Each bedroom will have a Queen-size bed there is also a sleeper sofa for additional guests. Winter Texans and long-term renters are always welcome. Please be aware there are external audio cameras on this property. This is a pet friendly rental. Please request the pool heater when making reservations. Heating the pool is an additional $50 + taxes for the duration of your stay. Takes at least 24 hours to heat the pool. STR# 382635
Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, there is covered parking for two. Bring your boat, trailer, golf cart and other vehicles. Don’t forget your fishing poles, surf boards, pool floaties and all of your gear. There is a secured storage/laundry room to keep your personal items. Relax on your covered balcony with the sounds and all of the gulf breeze feels. Furry friends are welcome to enjoy the private fenced yard. Wash off the sand in the outdoor shower and take a dip in your private in-ground swimming pool. Other family friendly amenities include a volleyball net, putting green, basketball hoop, yard for playing games and soaking up the sun.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Contracting guests must be at least 25 years old, have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID, and be present throughout the entire stay
- Cable and Wi-Fi service in Port Aransas can be unreliable due to the unique coastal environment in which we live. We appreciate your understanding that these services are beyond our control. No discounts or refunds will be given for service disruptions.
- This is a PET-FRIENDLY RENTAL. Pet fees are an additional $20.00+tax, per pet, per night. A maximum of 3 pets are allowed. Additionally, a pet-cleaning fee is also charged, which is $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days, and $100 for stays of 30 or more days.

We loved this location

We stayed at spring break and this house being on a cud-a-sac you would never know how busy the area was. there is a heated pool but it was cold on arrival so we texted the property management, the pool sadly took three days to warm up. other than the pool issue we loved house so much we have rented it again already for 5 months from now.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay at Island Vibes. It’s a quick three minute golf cart or truck ride to public beach access. The rental had everything we needed to cook breakfast and lunches. If I had to suggest one thing I would probably suggest investing in a new grill. We did bring our own beach towels and chairs but there were some beach amenities in the downstairs storage. The fenced in dog area was perfect for our two fur babies. The pool area had plenty of seating and was a tropical oasis in warm afternoons. You do have the option to pay additional to warm the pool but we did not. It was a little cold for us to swim but with the cool coastal breezes we were very comfortable sitting outside mornings, afternoons and evenings. The rental is so close to restaurants, shopping and grocery/gas. There a few dining options within walking distance. We highly recommend renting a golf cart and would return to this villa in the future!

Winter Escape 2023

Reviewer Comments: Our first Escape MN winter to Port Aransas but will not be our last as we loved the whole experience and area. Port Aransas is a wonderful location and area and has so many places to go and things to see. The house we had rented was updated with kitchen appliances and bathrooms and beds were comfortable and cozy. Only negative we felt about the house is the water temperature in bath and shower. The unit does not have a conventional water heater but one of those new wall mounted box types that apparently heats the water as it goes through it. Takes a long time to get hot water in the shower or tub. The water temperature could be turned up hotter as would have shower on full hot and was hot but not hot enough that you had to adjust it at all and the same as the bathtub. Not a big deal for our overall enjoyment of the place. Pool was fine but would have been much more enjoyable if the water temperature would have stayed between 85 to 90 degrees. The pool heater was set at 90 degrees but the heater adjusts with the air temperature so it the outside temp is in the 50s for a couple days the pool water temp drops to 60s and 70s then when it gets warm outside it takes 2 days to get the pool temp up to the mid 80s. Talked to the people in the rental next door with a pool and they advised the pool temp never changed and was always in the upper 80s or 90. Still more enjoyable than trying to swim in Minnesota. We loved riding bikes all around the area and up the Gulf Beach on a daily basis(weather permitting) Loved the shops and unique restaurants as well as the friendly people we met at the various places we went. The staff at Port A Escapes was wonderful and prompt in responding to e mails the 2 time the pool heater quit working. Port Aransas will now be our winter escape location after 10 years of trying other states and locations. Thank You Port A Escapes and Port Aransas.

Super cute beach house

I wanted a place with a private pool cause my kids are a little scared of the ocean, too much shark shows. It was very clean and very relaxing. My only complaint (I mean if you want to call it a complaint) is the check in and out times. We got there around 2:30 and just waited til 4. No one was there, it was clear that the place was ready but didn’t get the text til 4 which i get it that’s the time they said. But then the check out time was 11. I guess I thought with a late check in time, not to mention the amount of money we paid for this place, I thought it would be a later check out time. I must have missed this when I booked. Will I stay again? I personally would Probably not. It is a very nice place, I loved it but They have cheaper places where we could stay.

Beds comfortable & kitchen well stocked. Kids loved the pool & basketball goal. We rented a cart from Jackfish & the beach was a quick ride away. We ate at PortA Pizzeria & it was a hit for all ages. Otherwise we made meals at the house. Loved having the outdoor shower/wash area to clean up after the beach & the ability to do laundry. Communication was easy throughout the process. Bring pool/beach towels, hand soap for the kitchen sink, spices & coffee (keurig & regular pot with a few filters). There were a few camp chairs in the storage room but no beach chairs or beach umbrella so bring those if you'd like them. We had a very nice stay.
