From the street, Cottage on Beach Plum looks small and cozy, but step inside and you will be pleasantly surprised by all the room the house provides all on one floor. Our home is perfect for large families, multi-generational groups, as well as several couples. With four bedrooms (two en-suite masters) and three full bathrooms, this home provides space and comfort while being steps away from the beaches of the Delaware Bay. The back screened-in porch gives a quiet retreat after spending a day on the beach. The home is supplied with paper products, linens, beach gear, and a cleaning service.

There is plenty of free parking on the driveway and in the street. The garage is not to be used for parking but for beach gear storage.

Nice property and nice location

This was our second stay at this property. This time we went in the winter rather than summer. First of all the house is nice and warm in the winter. It's very well furnished, a few steps from the Delaware Bay beach and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It's very convenient to local restaurants, stores and Cape May.

Wonderful getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable and welcoming home. It had everything we needed and was in a very peaceful neighborhood. The home is set up perfectly for anyone with mobility issues (we had our Mom with us, who is in her 80's). We also loved being able to bring our dogs with us. The host is very welcoming and replied instantly if we had any questions. It was a lovely, stress-free stay.

Amazing stay as always

My family and I had another wonderful experience staying at the Beachplum property! Communication with our host has always been friendly and responsive. The home was exactly as described: clean, well-equipped and thoughtfully decorated to create a welcoming atmosphere. The location by the bay is wonderfully private and yet still close by to Cape May’s town center and all its activities. We appreciate how well-stocked the home is and the single ground floor living area is perfect for my dog who has mobility issues. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area, and we hope to stay here again in the future. Thank you for another wonderful trip! -Melissa

Another wonderful week at the beach!

My friends and I enjoyed Elizabeth's hospitality at her beach property for several years now each fall. It continues to be a wonderful chance to disconnect and unwind in comfortable surroundings. We alway appreciate the space, the screened-in porches, and close proximity to things we always love to do on an annual basis. Don't hesitate to book this property-- you won't be disappointed!

Sisters vacation

This property was perfect for us. My sister and I are 71 and 73. Her 2 daughters are 37 and 40. Having everything on one level made it easier for us. I loved the layout of the house. The walk to the beach was only 5 minutes and usually there were only 1 or 2 people there. There are plenty of chairs, umbrellas and towels to use. The house was immaculate. They allow dogs so I was able to bring my service dog. I give this place 5 stars. Everything was great!

Great Family Vacation House

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect house or a better location for our family vacation. The home was very comfortable, well equipped with everything we needed-- linens, beach supplies, kitchen utensils, etc.-- and a perfect layout for our stay with extended family. We loved eating our meals on the large screened-in porch! Elizabeth was a pleasure to deal with and super quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Spectacular Getaway in great neighborhood gem

This house was immaculate upon arrival stocked with everything we needed for a quick getaway over the Fourth of July. Linens, towels, everything was clean and comfortable. The beach was literally steps away and I enjoyed walking my dogs on the beach in the morning and evenings. The outside shower was perfect for rinsing the pups after the beach and I love how the owners had a hot water access so they would be comfortable, nice touch! I would 100% stay in this exceptional home anytime. Thank you for sharing your home with us. It’s literally perfect for traveling to this area in North Cape May.

A few of my family’s highlights: Large screened in porch Walkable to the bay Short drive to the ocean Several different bed configurations/sizes in the bedrooms Large dining room table so we could all eat at one table Responsive home owner Linens were included Our ONLY bit of feedback/possible (mild) improvement would have been if there was a clothesline somewhere to hang suits and towels after a day at the beach and an enclosed outdoor shower. Two things we could and did absolutely live without, that said. Thank you for a fantastic week at the beach!

Wonderful holiday stay

The house was terrific for my husband and I, daughter and son-in-law, his mom and our pup. Close to beautiful sunsets at the bay, great restaurants, lighthouse, downtown Cape May and beaches. Absolutely loved the back porch - listening to birds, rain, and relaxing. Lots of amenities and great communications with the host. A wonderful place to start the summer!
