We can not have outside guests at this home that are not staying at the property. Parking is an issue that is why the total occupancy is up to 10 people.
During the summer we rent from Thursday to Sunday (3 night minimum) then Sunday to Thursday at a discount (4 night minimum) you can book any combinations of those check in and check out times. For example if it’s available you can take a Thursday check in and stay until the following Sunday if needed. (That would be 10 nights).

Got the job done!

I would highly recommend checking your invoice when you receive it. I did not notice that I was charged $70 extra a night. I picked this property for the size and that it allowed dogs. NOTE: dogs are not allowed on furniture and must be caged when left alone. I am glad I left my dog at home last minute as she does not like to be caged. The space was great. Nice area for the kids to run around. Vince was great at communicating before the trip.

Wedding and Birthday weekend

We spent the weekend here for a birthday and wedding in nearby Lake Geneva. The place was perfect and had everything we needed! Vince was very kind and accomodating as well. I definitely recommend staying here!

Welcoming!

Vince and Nancy were very welcoming, friendly, and extremely accommodating. The house we stayed in was perfect for our family of six and 2 dogs. We had access to the water via the pier at the end of the road which was a huge plus. Everything was great and we enjoyed our weekend stay!

Amazing Stay!

What an amazing home and location! We stayed a couple of days to see the area prior to booking a week stay for next year and I can say we already booked our stay for 2024. The home was very spacious with a large island for entertaining and cooking. The home was clean as a whistle when we arrived. We had a large deck that was very private to BBQ on and entertained. Vince and Nancy were very attentive to answer any questions we had. They recommended a few restaurants that were amazing. The fire pit was beautiful and private as we sat out in the evening with a fire. The beds were very comfortable and the location was quiet. We walked to the lake which is only about 350 feet or so from the home and enjoyed fishing from the pier. The kitchen had all the tools needed for us to make our breakfast and lunch.( dinners we ate out) It was nice to be on a private drive so we didn't have to worry so much about traffic for our 2 year old to play. We are looking forward to staying next summer and seeing Vince and Nancy again. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I highly recommend this home as a vacation stay. It was much nicer than the pictures. Very impressed!

Wedding Trip

We were in town for a family wedding. The house was amazing and our host went above and beyond. He even brought us firewood for the fire pit outside. It is located just a few houses down from the lake where you can rent pontoon boats . The house was immaculately clean with the softest sheets and towels. Vince really took care of our whole family. It is even better than the pictures. Our entire family had a great time staying there and I would highly recommend renting this house.

Wedding Weekend

Had a wedding at the House in the Wood area and this place was super close and convenient for our group of ten. Vince is very responsive and it was very easy to get in and out.

Bachelorette Party

This place was amazing!! It was nice quiet location. The house was pretty big. There were 8 of us that stayed and there room for everyone to sleep and have their space. Loved the space on the deck to eat and have a bonfire. The beach was 10 minutes away. Lake Geneva was about 20 min away. Vince was always available for any questions or trouble we had. Definitely recommend. We had a great a time.

Lots of room near Lake Delavan

The house had plenty of room for us and our two young boys. We even had room for Nana to stay. It is a few steps away from Lake Delavan and close enough to drive to Lake Geneva. We had all we needed to cook dinners in the house and slept on comfortable beds. Vince was available to help should we have needed anything, but the house was equipped with what we needed.

Weekend trip

My husband and I, with our two golden retriever dogs enjoyed a nice weekend at the house. We also had family visit with all young children. The location was great, the house was comfortable. The only thing I suggest is bringing some ziplock bags, tin foil, paper plates and paper towels. The kitchen was stocked well and the beds were comfortable. We did like having the washer and dryer too. Vince and his family made us feel like we were longtime friends and would love to stay again. He also has a boat rental that I would highly recommend. Thanks for a great weekend and the warmness you should us and our family.

Nice Quiet Christmas

What a beautiful lake home! We were supposed to be a family of 5 for Christmas but one car came down with COVID and had to turn around so it was just my husband, our dog and I. I love to cook and be in the kitchen and I’m in love with this kitchen island. Vince calls you before you check in to let you know to bring paper towels and paper plates (although there are dining plates, bowls and silverware). I brought condiments, spices, coffee and oils with me but wish I knew to bring aluminum foil or a bake mat. I did buy disposable aluminum pans and I’m glad I did because I don’t think I saw a casserole dish. I was able to find all of the utensils I needed to cook Christmas dinner but had to be flexible with the pots situation. I let Vince know and he said he’s on it! The beds were comfortable. For pet parents - dogs are not allowed on beds or furniture. We brought our pups crate and her bed and she stayed there, looking up at us with very longing eyes but she survived : ). Internet worked great, they had access to all of the TV apps for sign in. Great location, easy to find. Would definitely come back!

Nice place for a family retreat

Space worked well for our little Thanksgiving family reunion. Beds for everyone and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Close to historic town and we got in a little time at the lake too. Several restaurants nearby too.

Nice Quiet cabin near the lake

We enjoyed our stay near Delavan. Caught a half lake tour in Lake Geneva and some good eats at Waterfront Pub. Enough room for the 5 of us. Plenty of bath towels and even a couple of games to play like backyard corn hole. The house was clean and had 2 TV’s with smartphone connectivity. Only complaint is too soft pillows offered almost no neck support. I’d recommend bringing your own if you’re a back or side sleeper. Kitchen appliances worked well and even some large bowls for popcorn.

The kitchen and the setup of this home is amazing, beautiful and comfortable home.

Great Lake Location

Booked to stay for a wedding, we did not use the lake. Property is clean, lots of extra blankets & towels, property owner is communicative & friendly. Location is 3 houses away from the lake. Property has well water but it is filtered, so if you have an allergy to Sulphur or iron, it is not a problem. Neighborhood is quite on a private road. Cute little down town with a great breakfast place. Would stay again!

The property was great. Right by the lake. Vince and Nancy were super friendly, responsive and accommodating. The kids had a BLAST on the pontoon and lily pad - great pricing as well! I would and probably will stay with Vince and Nancy again!
