This spacious ocean bluff condo, unit 109, called 'Queens Hideaway' has sweeping views of the Pacific and is now totally refurnished by interior designers to become the most elegant and comfortable unit in Pu'u Poa! Modern, large lounging sectionals and updated furnishings add luxury and comfort to your stay. A full wall of sliders facing the ocean makes indoor/outdoor living a beautiful enhancement. Newly installed A/C makes your stay comfortable during the hotter months.Modern stone enhances the large gourmet kitchen while the master bath boasts a large double shower. Our fully stocked kitchen makes cooking easy!
Our complex has a large pool perched on the cliff overlooking the ocean and plenty of lounge chairs for sun bathing.
Privacy and ocean/Bali Hai views enchant our guests as whale and dolphin watching is a favorite pastime. It's all about location and Pu'u Poa has one of the few ocean side units that are amongst the amazing beauty of the North Shore of Kauai. The most beautiful beaches, tropical mountain vistas and enchanting waterfalls among exotic jungle folage. Also located next to the 5 star Hotel 1, guests can walk over for an elegant dinner and tropical drinks with sweeping Bali Hai views. This condo gets its name from Hideaways beach, a secluded beach, which is directly below the condo, down a fun hiking trail. This beach is the perfect place to watch thrilling surf or snorkel with the turtles, depending on the ocean’s mood. Also, from Queen's Bath, one of the most unique and refreshing swimming areas on the island. The 'pool' is carved into a lava shelf and is the size of several large swimming pools and is located just down the street and down a majestic hiking trail. The trail is closed in winter but opens in the summer minths. br>
Two top rated golf courses are very close, Princeville Center, walking/cycling trails, Prince Albert Park, Queen’s Bath and a short drive to all the amazing beaches of the north shore including one of the top 10 rated beaches in the world 'Hanalei Bay' . Just what we expected
Great view, great space The main bedroom is amazing. the other not quite as good (if 2 couples you'll fight over main). Remember that all the beach equipment is in closet on patio. we didn't realize till last day. Would definitely stay again.

My partner and I loved watching the whales and surfers from the large lanai. We appreciated the nice beach chairs and it looked like there was enough snorkel equipment and boogie boards in the equipment closet to outfit a crowd. When we accidentally locked ourselves out of the unit, Steve helped get us back in lickety-split.

Family Vacation
This was the perfect spot for our family of 5! The views were breathtaking. We ate breakfast and lunch outside overlooking the ocean. The pool was a short walk through the grass and our kids enjoyed swimming there as well. The unit was fully stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. Our 2 daughters shared the one BR, my husband and I the other and our son slept on the pull-out couch and had a nice area to himself. We loved being on the north part of the island. Hanalei Bay was amazing and so many beaches nearby with snorkeling or swimming/surfing. Hiking too. The only negative of this unit is it was down two flights of stairs. This was not a problem at all for us and it wasn't that many stairs but my mom would have had a hard time with it especially carrying luggage. Besides that the unit was PERFECT! Hopefully we will be back to the area and we would definitely stay here again!

I've stayed in many different spots in the Princeville area including several in this Condo (Pua Poa). I'd have to say this is one of the best. We enjoyed the ability to walk out onto the lawn and the open patio not to mention the ability to cook and dine outside regardless of what the weather was doing. The kitchen is great for cooking, the beds comfortable and the owners are generous with beach toys and other outdoor items.

Perfect vacation destination

This well-equipped condo was a great spot for our family of 5. Very clean, great views, lots of space. The foldout bed lacked privacy but it worked for us. The town of Princeville has a grocery store, restaurants, and shops. Close to beaches, hiking, and shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The condo was excellent. Had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of room for 2 couples. Great location on the north shore. Very clean, spacious, and nicely furnished. Great location for Princeville and Hanalei treks. Whale sightings were numerous. Only negatives are LOTS of steps and can’t see Bali Hai from lanai.

This was a wonderful property. The indoor living spaces were spacious, the kitchen was well appointed, the beds were comfortable, and the outdoor lanai, with red sectional couch, looking out toward the water, was fantastic. We would definitely stay again.

This property is beautiful! The inside is clean, updated and very spacious. Our favorite was the lanai/patio which was private and had a beautiful view of the Pacific. The location in Princeville is convenient and close to several restaurants and a grocery store. The drive to Hanalei Bay is also very easy from here. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay!

We just returned from a 10 day trip. It was actually our second time staying at Puu Poa, and first time in this unit. It was lovely! Pictures are accurate - the home is comfortable, well appointed, an all around great property. Can’t wait to come back!

Growing up in Seattle I always dreamed of beaches, tropical scenery and warm days and star filled warm nights. I have traveled to many of these types of places but feel that the north shore of Kauai is the most beautiful I've seen. When I'm at our condo the beauty and serenity make me truly feel like I'm in paradise.

Why they chose this property

I absolutely loved the views of the Ocean, Bali Hai and the mountains with majestic waterfalls....I felt I could not find a more beautiful setting and loved the modern, open floor plan with large lanais for eating and entertaining.

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location! This unit and the complex has it all! There are not many ocean front condos on the north shore...and this one is tops them all!
