Multiple levels to enjoy the 90 feet of open water with your choice of sun or shade on a quiet section of the Colorado River Arm of Lake LBJ a constant level lake.
It can be hard to choose where to spend your time, at the water front level, the upper deck of the boat dock, the fire pit, or enjoying the views from the deck!
Gated ramp to the two story boat dock with shade or sun. Two double kayaks and 5 stand up paddle boards for renters use!

Amazing outdoor entertainment spaces make this the perfect gathering place for friends and family. Enjoy the screened in porches, decks and fire pit. Fabulous 2 story boat dock with covered section, outdoor kitchen and 13 ft. diving platform with rope swing. One boat lift available to renters and a tie up space along the dock.
The 2 bedroom guesthouse with living room and kitchenette creates the perfect separate space for kids or a family.

Beautiful Weekend on the Lake

Find a stretch of time that should have good weather and enjoy it with others here. Was basically summer weather in October for us and perfect water. Fantastic dock and outdoor area overall plus a house with plenty amenities.

Absolutely amazing getaway!

8 of us had a wonderful week at the gathering place! Kitchen had everything we needed. Tons of games to play and things to do on the water. Host was perfect to work with!

Great spot for a big family!

The owners of this property have created a beautiful, comfortable spot that is great for a large family gathering. The kitchen has everything you need--bonus points for Tajin in the spice rack! The beds were comfortable. The fire pit is awesome and the place is well equipped with paddle boards, kayaks, and life jackets. We will absolutely stay here again in the future!

Perfect escape

Property accommodated our 3 families with abundant space. It came with everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend. It’s close to Spider Mountain, a winery, and a State Park with caverns. We will definitely return!

Amazing stay close to nature

We had a wonderful time staying at this property with nice view and all the facilities you need for your stay away from home to be comfortable. Bill was proactively providing details and prompt in responding to any queries. It was a five star stay for us and we would certainly consider visiting this amazing vacation home sometime soon!

Great Gathering

Owner was excellent to work with, and made sure we had a great stay. Excellent with the details (sharp, quality knives for example). Lots of space inside and out. The dock and patio are especially nice. We had 9 adults and one infant, with plenty of space, kitchen gear, games, etc…

We had a large party and this place had plenty of room (including sleeping room) for our group. The outdoor fire pit was fantastic for evening gatherings, but our favorite area was by the deck! The kitchen/living room was spacious and it never felt small. We had to contact them for small things and they responded right away!

My Husband's 60th Birthday- Family Celebration

We booked this wonderful place for my husband's 60th birthday celebration. Our four children, their kids, and our parents joined us. Everyone- ages 13 months to 89 years old- had a wonderful time! The host thought of everything. We hope to be back!

Well appointed home perfect for multi-generation family vacation.

The property was thoughtfully stocked from kitchen to outdoor patio; and we particularly enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. The property was very clean all around and had very cold AC. The only drawbacks were the recent rains had deposited debris in water around dock and there was no rope swing.

Amazing Place On The Water

The outdoor photos don't do justice to how great that space is. With the help of the chefs in our party we prepared amazing meals with the outdoor cooking equipment and fed an army. Plenty of space to lounge indoor and out. Lots of easy access water toys to enjoy the river. Don't skip the rope swing.

Fantastic View and Great Accomodations

Bill was an excellent host and made sure everything was perfect for us. We had pretty much everything we needed. The house was beautiful and the view was perfect. We spent most of the day outdoors even though it was cold and rainy because of how great the backyard was. It can hold 14 people with use of the sleeper sofas or 12 without. It was an absolutely great time.

Family fun!

An after Christmas celebration at the Gathering Place on Lake LBJ was a perfect 3 days. The home was spotless and had everything needed for fun! We ended up spending most of the time at the property since we had warm weather in December for kayaking and game playing. We especially enjoyed sitting around the firepit and roasting somores two evenings. Thanks for providing a place for making memories! Debbie Erwin and family

Outstanding property and experience

We rent often and this is perhaps the most thoughtful, well stocked, organized property we have ever rented. Exceptional explanation and directions for all amenities. Exceptional and proactive owner/manager. 5 levels of decks to enjoy from the master deck to the Tiki bar at waters edge. We only had 6 but easily would have been able to serve 20 people there were so many matched and new dishes and stainless. Kayaks, paddle boards, huge decks. Outstanding and already looking forward to booking again.

Spacious, immaculate get-away for a large group!

This place had it all! There was 14 of us and we all had plenty of space! Everything was clean and wonderful! The lily pad, paddle boards and kayaks let us play in the water even on the 2 days of cold weather! The swing was a little intimidating for my old self, but the kids loved it! All the different levels for seating and chilling was literally perfect! We had such a great time and would come back here in a SECOND! In fact, my hubby kept saying he wanted to buy it! lol
