Wonderful Home and Great Pool!

We had a great break from the Chicago cold in Glendale! The house was exactly as described and the pool/hot tub were wonderful.

Winter Break

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home is located in an awesome spot by the golf course. The outdoor space is fantastic. The pool and hot tub work flawlessly. We really enjoyed watching all the birds on the ponds. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the warm weather. The neighborhood is great for walking and the home is close to great restaurants and parks.

Great Outdoor Area on the Lake!

This home has a great location on the lake! We enjoyed all the outdoor areas-pool, hot tub, fire pit and dinner on the patio. They even have an herb garden. Catherine and John were easy to communicate with, very responsive and even came over to help us with the hot tub.

Paradise

Very fun and relaxing vacation home. Backyard was beautiful with many different birds and ducks on the lake. Fishing from the dock was good (fishing equipment was provided.) Outdoor speakers were a wonderful touch. Hot tub very clean with tons of jets and heated pool very lovely. Pictures are accurate. Living room furniture was very comfortable, beds and pillows were great and showers had nice high pressure. Hosts were very attentive for any questions. Overall, wonderful stay.

Phoenix from Seattle

We decided to take the family on an extended weekend trip with a concert on the following Tuesday. Had a great time during our stay. The properly is very close to many activities, including Diamond Desert Arena where the concert was. Would recommend the property! Owners are very conscientious and checked in during our stay to make sure everything was tip-top!

This property has an amazing heated pool, hot tub, gorgeous sunrises, and lake views. Bird lovers paradise. Great location for vacation home base off the 101. Starbucks and Safeway nearby. Can’t wait to come back.

Peaceful /relaxing

Needed a peaceful quiet get away and that is exactly what we found. Highly recommend this location. The Only Item we recommend is placing the pool pump in an enclosure as it is pretty loud. There is nothing bad to say at all about this place, Nothing. Loved it will be going back sometime.

A Thanksgiving get away!

The owners of the property were wonderful. From making sure we had what we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner all the way to coming over when we thought the hot tub was on the brink. They pulled through. We enjoyed the sunshine and the backyard immensely! This was our favorite part of the property. We do wish the pool had been heated so everyone could enjoyed it, not just our 11 year old who had fun jumping in freezing water to then quickly warming up in the hot tub! I was grateful for all the floats though because we did use those to float atop the water but having the amazing sun to bathe in was so nice! I am glad that our children were at the ages they are (11 and up) because even at 11, there were times I found myself anxious due to the areas of drop off where there could be potential danger for injuries. However, with age and maturity, the backyard is amazing!! I wouldn’t recommend it with toddlers but that’s just me. Unfortunately, the vacation started off by us washing all towels and some sheet sets. Even though most likely they had been washed, the stains on them didn’t make anyone feel at ease. The living room couch was dirty with food smeared on the seat cushions. I flipped them over and covered with some of the sheets I washed. I also covered the outside seating with towels due to the filth on those. The bed in the master was extremely noisy. There were times we thought it was going to collapse. Mainly happens when getting in and out. Those things aside. Location is great, owners were great, backyard enjoyable and the view beautiful!

Wedding wonderful

We stayed at the property for our wedding. My bridal party and I stayed here the night before and got ready day of and it was the perfect setup and location. Our bridal photos here are breathtaking! My husband and I came back here to this paradise for our wedding night and it was a perfectly peaceful and wonderful way to start our marriage!

We have made so many amazing memories here and look forward to the new memories our guests will create. We've loved this home and are excited to share it. This magical place is truly unique, and the wildlife changes with the seasons.
We married in this fabulous backyard John Trice designed and created, and had corporate events. Please keep this gem in mind when you have visitors or are looking for a stay-cation.

We are remodelers, and we're off on another project building that up. We hope to share those unique experiences with you when we've finished.

This property is very loved. We've put our heart and soul into this home, fully remodel, and built the backyard from only orange trees. Catch the wildlife in the morning and at sunset when the lake is full of life. Close to everything yet a private escape. This is an experience.
