About this property

This is the perfect home for a multi-generation family vacation!

This large home is situated on a private road, directly on the Nubble and across the street from the ocean. Enjoy the (partial) ocean views and only a 5-minute walk to Long Sands beach. Short Sands beach and the Nubble Lighthouse are both a 10-minute walk. When you are not at the beach you can enjoy your time outside on the 900 sq. ft. warp around deck.

The ground floor has a garage to store your beach toys. The living area includes a den room with a TV and a table for playing games. This is a great place for the kids to get away and have a place to play. There is also a bedroom with 2 twin beds and en suite bathroom with a shower.

The 2nd floor has an open kitchen with an island, granite countertops, a gas stove, and stainless-steel appliances. The kitchen opens to a 32 x 16' living room with access to the deck from either the kitchen or living room. The Master Bedroom is on this floor with a king bed, walk-in closet, and an en suite bathroom with a custom walk-in shower and soaking tub. There is also access to the deck from the master bedroom.

The 3rd floor has an open area with 4 twin beds, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, and a common bathroom. All rooms have large spacious closets.

Best vacation in a long time!!!

The property was perfect for a party of ten ;five adults and five children. The house came equipped with absolutely everything and was beautifully appointed. We had a ball!!

My husband and I do quite a few Vrbo’s. This was far the best one we have ever stayed in. Kerry had thought of everything! You only need to pack your clothes and get food. Attention to detail was definitely noticed. Perfect place for the whole extended family. Would recommend and definitely stay again!

Great house, great location!

We stayed for a week as a multi-generational family (ages 2 - 80+) - the house was great! Lots of room to spread out, a great fully fenced-in backyard + fire pit for s'mores, and fully stocked with anything and everything we needed for the beach! We were able to make the walk down to Long Sands and downtown no problem (5 & 8yr olds handled the walk just fine!). The house was clean and stocked from the kitchen to bathrooms and games. There was an internet outage during our stay due to some storms rolling through and the host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend the house, we would definitely consider staying again when we return to York!

Great place for a family!

Our stay was lovely! The place was clean and well equipped! The location is great, within walking distance to Long Sands, Short Sands and the arcade. Our family loved the chance to relax in the spacious house and cook in the well kept kitchen. The weather was great also!

Incredible!

We had *such* a wonderful time at this house. The hosts anticipated pretty much every possible need--it was the best stocked house we have ever come across. The location was superb, as it was close enough to everything for us to walk to the beaches, but also right off the main street so it never felt crazy. The deck was beyond compare and the outdoor space was perfect. We had a really rainy week and ages ranging from 3 to 81, which could create some very big problems when the beaches aren't available due to weather. But between the outdoor and indoor space, everyone was able to get both the family and alone time that they needed. Definitely 5 stars.

The owner thought of EVERYTHING

Seriously, we only needed our clothes. The house is appointed beautifully. We enjoyed the wrap around deck with plenty of seating and the stunning fire pit in the backyard during the evening. Walking to the beach was Easy Peasy, even with a 2 & 4 year old. We loved every second and our week flew by. Can’t wait to go back again next year!

Great Family Vacation

Amazing week at a great house

We had an amazing week staying at this house. The house is exactly as listed and even better in person. The house was clean, beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Our group of 7 fit comfortably in the house, with room to spare. The large deck was such a nice extension of the house. We had many meals at the table on the deck. There was ample sitting areas for everyone too. We loved all the umbrellas to give a little shade from the sun while sitting out on the rocking chairs. The house has so many well thought out extras to make your stay easier. The beach wagon was so key to our daily trips to the beach. There were plenty of games to keep my kids occupied. We couldn’t have been happier with the house. The owners were easily reachable throughout the week. The house is in a perfect location. It was a 7 minute walk to Long Sands Beach, a 10-15 minute walk to Short Sands Beach and my favorite, the Nubble Lighthouse was just up the road. So glad we rented this house and we’re able to create so many amazing memories on our vacation.

Maine Summer Vacation

This home on the Nubble was perfect for our Maine vacation. Short walk to all that York Beach has to offer. Also close drive to Portland and Boston. Acadia is about 3.5 hours away, but worth the drive! Would love to come back!

Gorgeous getaway

The house was absolutely gorgeous! It was very clean when we arrived and the owners even bought my husband a bottle of his favorite whiskey since they knew we were celebrating his birthday. The owners were extremely responsive, organized and accommodating. The house was right in the middle of both main areas in York — a short walk or bike ride to the Long Sands beach or the other way to the lighthouse and downtown shops. Highly recommend!

Love these houses!

My family and I rented this house and the one next to it for a big family vacation. We LOVED the houses! They were outfitted well, with everything you need to enjoy your stay - just bring your clothes and groceries! Both houses also have ocean views and great outdoor space. We enjoyed grilling on the patio, and using the beach chairs to take to the beach. The houses also had coolers which was great! Only thing we felt would be a nice addition were bikes to use, and maybe cooking oil in the kitchen. There were a few minor hiccups after checking in, but the owners were very quick to respond and took care of them immediately. We would definitely stay here again!
