This home is even more beautiful than it's stunning photographs online. Welcoming, full of natural light, clean and decorated beautifully, this was a home we did not want to leave. There is so much room and the use of space is incredible. The beds, linens and even bath towels, are so comfortable and of nice quality. The kitchen was stocked with all of the utensils we could need. I love all of the little details in and around the home. Communicating with Eric was a breeze and he was very accomodating to our needs / requests. We WILL be back.
The rental experience was easy. The property manager was very helpful with everything I requested. The house was beautiful but the rear of the first floor was cold and there was an open hole in the ceiling of the first floor bedroom closet. The hardwood floors were also dirty and appeared unsealed causing your socks to get dirty when you walked around without shoes.
What a surprise. After two cancelled wedding venue attempts elsewhere due to COVID, our bride and groom had given up hope of having a beautiful space to celebrate. The Terry rescued the day for our family, and we were able to enjoy a simple small wedding here in a lush and memorable fashion. This venue is a hidden gem.
Form meets function at The Terry in a seamless way. This freshly restored historic Victorian home has a mid-century modern sensibility. The interior is magazine-worthy and so comfortable. You’ll see smart and pleasing design in the custom bedrooms, nostalgic new bathrooms, grand high ceilings and modern lighting, and a charming attic ‘bunk’ room which is a huge bonus for group lodging.
Because The Terry is the perfect blend of ornate detail and sleek functional design, this venue works as an extremely versatile gathering space. Built to handle a crowd, the well-appointed kitchen has two dishwashers and a layout that provides easy serving. The long and ample dining table sits in large open room which flows into another open seating area which flows to more outdoor seating and gathering area.
This house begs to be in pictures and is photo-perfect for a wedding or other important event. The stately staircase, tall windows, fireplaces, and jewel tone velvet upholstery furniture are dramatic backdrops for a photo shoot.
Perhaps the most important part of a venue is the service the owner provides. The management of The Terry is top-notch; professional and so personally concerned with their guests’ experience. We are so grateful for Eric and his care for our unique needs during a historically challenging time.
I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. It is smart fresh aesthetic and comfortable design. Just such a beautiful place to make memories.
Five stars.
