Hit The Beach at Kure Beach | Great Views of Ocean

"Hit the beach" is the perfect single family home in Kure Beach just one home behind the ocean and sand!  This 4 bedroom home also has an extra family room / den with a futon and smart tv, allowing for up to 10 guests.  Upstairs there is a nicely furnished and decorated living room, dining, and kitchen all open to each other.  There is a dining room table that sits 8 and 4 hightop bar stools at the kitchen bar for extra seating.  The smart flat screen tv in the living room has cable and free WiFi as well as a dvd player.  There is a separate ice maker in the built-ins by the kitchen.  Kitchen is fully stocked with coffee pot, blender, toaster, etc..

There are also three bedrooms upstairs with wooden window shutters, one with a ROKU TV, and a 2 full bathrooms.  There is a small spiral staircase that takes you downstairs to another full bathroom (no tub, only shower), bedroom, and den / extra family room with futon and another ROKU TV.  There is also a one car garage with washer and dryer,  two beach chairs, a covered patio, an outdoor shower, and fenced in area.  There is also a gas grill.

Hit the beach is pet friendly up to 2 dogs with a 60 lbs limit for a $200 pet rental rate per pet.  The yard is fenced so your dogs can have room to run.

Kure Beach and Carolina Beach are dog-friendly! Dogs are allowed on the beach from October 1 through March 31. They must be cleaned up after and on a leash or restraint lead no longer than fifteen feet. Dogs are not allowed on the beach from April 1 through September 30.

Great location and property!

Great house for a family! The house is nicely located just a block from the beach access and within walking distance of local restaurants. While it was realized upon our arrival that the dishwasher wasn’t working, the property manager was awesome at communicating with us and having a handyman assist in a timely fashion.

Perfect spot in Kure

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles and a garage that allowed storage of all our men’s fishing supplies. Enough room for everyone to have their own space. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants and the pier.

Family Trip

This is our second time staying here. The house is perfect for us to have plenty of room for our yearly family visit. We come from different parts of NC. Great location so close to the beach. We enjoy cooking out and spending time on the beach. Even get in some fishing. The house is beautiful decorated and very clean. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Fantastic place to stay

This is the second time staying at this property for our family. The layout works well for us. It is conveniently located within walking distance of some of our favorite restaurants and the Kure Beach pier. Also a short distance to Carolina Beach and Fort Fisher. Excellent communication with property owner/manager. Look forward to staying again in the future.

Amazing location/layout for multiple families

The layout of the house is perfect for multiple families and roomy kitchen dining and living room. Location is great. Short walk to beach but you can see it with your morning coffee.

House is in a great place with a beautiful view and so close to the beach. There are some issues that need a handyman. The door to the garbage area is stuck open. The towel bar in the lower level bathroom fell off the wall. You may want to talk to your cleaning staff. One of the towels in the the lower level bathroom had a ball of hair in it. One of the shades in the window facing the beach is broken

A block from the beach!

The house was perfect for our family beach trip and was well stocked for all the cooking we did. It was great having the beach so close since we had a baby who needed naps and we could go back and forth from the house easily. It's also a short walk to the pier and several restaurants. The spiral staircase is a bit tricky, but there is an entrance on the floor level so it can be avoided. Highly recommend!

Great location

This was our second time staying at “Hit the Beach”. As always, it’s a wonderful location with easy beach access. We were pleased with the addition of the countertop icemaker, and we always love the layout of the property which allows us all together for game night, or to hang out with our coffee in the morning. Unfortunately as with last time several of the amenities don’t work, and repairs are needed. The TV in downstairs apartment could not pick up the signal that’s located up in the kitchen from the Netgear‘s. The master bedroom TV would not even turn on. The ceiling fan over the dining room table wouldn’t turn on just the light fixture. Several of the lightbulbs throughout the house are burned out and I did not locate any back up lightbulbs. The toilet paper dispenser in the main bathroom is about to fall off the cabinet, as is the cold water handle on the faucet. It does not work properly and therefore you only get a small stream of water. We did have to go purchase some cleaning supplies as the apartment bathroom did not get cleaned nor did the counters and cabinets in the main bathroom. The hardwood floor is in need of a good mopping as well as the carpets could stand a good shampoo or probably a better thought to just remove them completely and put laminate down. Fixing this issues would garner 5 stars.

We really enjoyed our stay! Close walk to the beach, restaurants and a convenience store. Open floor plan makes it easy to hang out with friends and family in a relaxed atmosphere.

Excellent location with lovely view of water. Comfortable. Particularly liked upstairs common areas: kitchen, dining, living area. Master mattress could be upgraded. Did not use downstairs but would be great for younger kids. Very dog friendly!

Overall the was clean and nicely decorated.

We had 8 guests total. It was a family trip my son , father in law, brothers and nephews. The house had plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Also great sleeping arrangements with having 4 bedrooms. The house was very nice and clean.The best part is you see the ocean front the deck. Just a few short steps to the ocean. The host responded to our questions quickly. We would definitely recommend to stay here.

Nice place to Hit the Beach

We had a fantastic time here and would stay here again. Here’s what made our stay great: Host communication prior to our stay was very good. The location to the public beach access was great. The check-in was simple. The kitchen was very well-stocked. The living room was comfortable with plenty of seating. The back deck was comfortable for all 6 of us and provided a good view of the ocean. It was nice to have an outside shower and a protected area to keep our beach stuff. Upon our arrival, we noticed that the grounds were unkempt, as there were remnants of a water balloon fight, trash, dog-doo, a broken vermin station and the sand-covered grill looked unusable. It was dirty below the kitchen countertops, in drawers, cabinets and the garbage spot. A few living room blinds were broken. Towels from previous guests were left in closet. The living room rug contained a lot of dog hair. We didn't use the downstairs except for the washer and dryer. The washer left grease marks on several pieces of clothing. A short hose would be a nice addition to the shower stall to rinse off stuff.

Nice Beach Trip

The property is conveniently located and is large enough for 10 guests. It would benefit for a deep cleaning, especially the downstairs area. The air conditioning units were dirty and the overall humidity smell was intense. The upstairs was decent. Linens and towels were clean. Overall the house could use a TLC but still was a good experience.

Perfect Location

Liz was awesome! Quick response time to any questions. Adorable house with the perfect location in a quiet little beach town. A super short walk to the beach and ice cream. Felt perfectly safe letting the kids walk to the beach and for ice cream and burgers.
