Tell me what sounds like the better, more relaxing option: You could stay off campus at an expensive, common, yet not so exciting name hotel and pay $450++/ night, leave extra early for the game (after making several trips to pack up your car), drive to the game and fight traffic, find and pay for an expensive parking spot, park, remember where you parked, then walk/hike your way to Death Valley. After the game, hike back, try to find your car, fight with your spouse because you insisted you gave them the car keys, fight traffic back to the hotel, wait for the crowded elevator and finally get to your not so exciting room. You plop down on the bed stressed, dead tired knowing you have to shower, then talk about going out, driving back, etc.......... OR You could stay here, not worry about having to drive (1 parking spot included during your stay), tailgate from the room, on the balcony, in the Tiger Den or the tailgating area in the confines of the building, maybe take the 30 second walk to Esso for a cold one, enjoy a leisurely 5 minute stroll to Death Valley, come back for halftime or after the game and tailgate, sit at Esso or on my deck and watch the traffic go by (oh, and not argue with your spouse about the car keys) and have a stress free fun day. If you are a basketball or base/softball fan, that’s a short walk too. Just in case you wish to read more, here’s the “official” description: Excellent for business professionals and Clemson fans for sports weekends. Access to sports lounge, outdoor pavilion, elevator & parking. 1 assigned parking space, located behind the famous Esso Club and 1 block from Death Valley, Doug Kingsmore and the newly remodeled Little John Coliseum. Private secured access to parking space and condo comes complete with elevator access to the Tiger Sports Lounge (flat screen TV, Bar and balcony overlooking ESSO). Pavilion for outdoor entertaining as well as gas fireplace and grill. Living area with glass sliding doors, spacious kitchen area, full bath with walk-in shower, and multi-use oversized closet. Tailgate with friends and family, have a place to sleep, and have the convenience of walking to sports, graduation events and downtown. All paper products provided, fully stocked kitchen with silverware, flatware, microwave, toaster oven and garbage disposal. (BYO food & drink). Host also provides toothpaste, towels, washcloths, soaps, shampoos, sheets and pillows. $125 cleaning fee separate charge Go ahead and book now!
