All 4 bedrooms have king beds and Samsung Smart TVs. Two bedrooms have their own private patio space with chairs to relax. En suite baths for the two master suites at opposite ends of the bedroom wing. The bathrooms are new and updated with skylights and windows to keep things light and bright. There is an outdoor shower for your enjoyment. One bedroom has a desk if a workspace is needed, and we have a standing desk on casters that can be used anywhere.

Rent from the owner- no hidden or very high "Host" fees that third party agencies will charge. You communicate directly with me and my local house manager. I love sharing my home with people coming to enjoy Palm Springs. We charge the rental rate, cleaning, and tax. The pool is heated at your option for an additional fee. We offer a 10 % discount on weekly stays and 15% discount on monthly stays (these are calculated automatically with your quote). Monthly stays are not subject to the City TOT tax, and we do not charge for utilities (other than pool heat at your option).

Vista Las Palmas is known as the "Beverley Hills of Palm Springs" Oscar nominee Jackie Cooper owned this home and neighbors included Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Dean Martin, Peter Lawford and Dinah Shore (home now owned by Leonardo DiCaprio)!

The location is terrific, walking distance to downtown Palm Springs and the famous Palm Canyon Drive Strip. People are attracted to the neighborhood for the same attributes that made it popular originally. Vista Las Palmas is close to downtown -- 15 minutes by foot -- yet feels remote because it lacks streetlights and through traffic, has all utility lines buried, and is in the shadow of the San Jacinto Mountains.

Residents love gazing at the hills, which provide the neighborhood with an awesome backdrop. You wake up and see the mountains and your pool. Imagine back in the heyday when Jackie Cooper owned this house- Think that Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and Frank Sinatra could have cavorted out by the pool... Peter Lawford's open-beamed home is in Vista Las Palmas- imagine Marilyn Monroe stopping by -- and so, people say, did Jack Kennedy.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. The property is on a regular maintenance schedule (pool and landscaping). We closely follow the City of Palm Springs Vacation Rental Ordinances.
