Perfect peace!
If you’re looking for peace and quiet and privacy, this is the spot! The property is gated with a long driveway on a quiet mountain road, so there’s zero noise from the very few vehicles going by. The sound of the 2 lovely creeks rolling is all you hear. The house is immaculate, with everything you could possibly need. Clean and comfortable. The porches are great for relaxing and just unwinding and enjoying the wooded scenery. This spot is ideal for nearby hiking or just relaxing on the creek. My husband and I stayed 3 nights, we went into Hot Springs for dinner the first night, a short drive. We had planned to go across the mountain to Asheville for dinner one night but just hated to leave the place! We went into Greenville and bought steaks and grilled at the cabin and relaxed! There’s a grill on the back porch and plenty of dishes and all you need to cook and enjoy meals on the porch or the beautiful dining area of the house. Hiking, creek wading, a scenic mountain drive, relaxing, good food… the list goes on, all nearby within minutes, without the crowds! This place was everything we had hoped for and exactly what we needed!

Amazing Property and Hospitality from Owners!
Not only is the property secluded, peaceful, and private, the owners Matthew and Jennifer are extremely hospitable hosts! They were in constant communication with me during my entire stay. I even experienced a power outage, and they had called just to check and make sure things were OK with my family and I! This was the best experience I've ever had renting a property for a vacation. I would highly recommend this location not just for the view, but for the amazingly hospitable owners!

Why they chose this property

Copper Stills Cabin is located equidistant drive between Asheville and Gatlinburg directly inside the Appalachian Mountains in a remote river valley. The cabin is secluded by forests 360 degrees, the cabin can only be reached by a 1/8 mile long driveway which keeps the property out of view from the road. The cabin is also surrounded by hundreds of thousands of acres of the national forest and is walking distance through the forest to the longest hiking trail in the world. But you are not disconnected! Wifi and air conditioning with renovations include all modern comforts inside. Short drives can take you to everything you could want from Asheville, Gatlinburg or just live music in the small mountain town of Hot Springs. Groceries, banking, golf, waterparks, activities for small children, sightseeing, are all very abundant and at little or no cost.
