Dukes Pond is a 13 acre property that fulfills your need of fresh mountain air and serenity. The newly constructed Cabin is cozy, welcoming, and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. An open loft design and pine walls give an authentic cabin experience. 20 minutes from Dreams Park in Cooperstown, 10 minutes from All Star Village in Oneonta, and 7 minutes from Gilbert Lake State Park. Dukes Cabin is one of two homes on the property, each having their own individual gas BBQ's and firepits. Both homes have access to the pond (stocked with catfish and bass). Fishing poles and life vests are provided. An established summer baseball rental since 2013, now accepting 6 night 2022 rentals

Cozy Cabin

Just what we were looking for. Place was as described and convenient. Very clean! Lots of deer and wildlife. Would rent again if in the area. Zero complaints.

Stunning

The inside of this cabin was absolutely gorgeous. It was more then we expected. We were in town for the week for our son to play at Cooperstown. It wasn’t to far from the field, which was great. The pond was ok, not sure there were any fish left in the pond since it was the end of summer. I put 3 stars for cleanliness for 2 reasons: 1. The bathroom floor and heater were not cleaned and around the toilet was not clean 2. The freezer had hair and other gross things frozen to it. I did contact the owner to make him aware. He was very nice and apologized and said the cleaning coming he has been with for years normally sends the same person (that does a great job) but sometimes they have to send someone else or someone that is new. With that being said I would still definitely go back and stay another time. The owner was very nice, answered questions very quickly and made sure to give us all the information plus some that he felt we would need.

The property is perfectly isolated in the hills about 10 min from the All-Star Village. Peaceful and cozy….the pong is a plus if you like to fish.

Wonderful Getaway!

The property was PERFECT for our family! The kids really enjoyed the fire pit and the pond. It was a great space for togetherness. We also enjoyed some of the board games with each other. We had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin, quiet location

This cabin was perfect for our trip to Cooperstown Dreams Park. Once we got familiar with the back roads, it was a short 20 minute drive to the park and convenient for our stay. The cabin was clean and ready for us upon arrival with easy instructions to start unloading our vehicle. Location was great for us, centrally located for gas stations, grocery and dining options. I don't believe we ever drove more than 25 minutes for any of our errands. The cabin is nestled off a very quiet country road and was perfect for enjoying evenings in the backyard, watching fireflies and enjoying the clear skies filled with stars (we're not used to that where we're from). Would highly recommend this cabin for anyone, especially Cooperstown families that are commuting to either All Star Village or Cooperstown Dreams Park.

Perfect cozy log cabin!

The cabin was in a perfect location from where my son was playing at All Star Village. Tucked away in the woods, it was quiet and peaceful. The cabin was clean and had everything we could need. Directions for check in were easy and clear. The fishing pond was great! Thank you Joseph for making this such a wonderful experience! Would hands down recommend!

Great place to stay!

We loved staying here while our 12 year old played at CASV. It's very close to get to games, but far enough that we felt like we were on vacation. We were able to relax and go fishing between and after games. It's very well kept, clean, comfortable, and cozy. We highly recommend this place! Thanks Joe!

Relaxing time

This cabin was perfect for our visit to Cooperstown Dream Park. Our grandson and our son were involved with a team so this was perfect for the rest of us. Clean, cute, comfortable! The younger boys enjoyed fishing in the pond. Hope to come back when the younger ones are 12! Great stay!
