Our York Vacation

Loved the house that was beautifully decorated !!! The only thing that could be added is a screened in porch !!!! What a memorable stay with my family :)

Wonderful Stay

This was a wonderful house for our girls' trip! The house was extremely clean, beautifully decorated and had high quality cooking equipment. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable and the shower had good heat and water pressure. The property is beautiful and convenient. Staying here was a delight and has set the bar for our next trip. Highly recommend!

Our best ever VRBO experience…

Other VRBO members could learn much from Alicia on how to present a home for the optimum renter experience. Her place was so much better stocked and more artfully appointed than any other we have used over years with VRBO…it isn’t even close. Spending time in Maine is always cherished…staying in Alicia’s home made it exceptional.

Gorgous house, easy walk to beach

Alicia’s home is so comfortable and meticulously planned out for her renters. The house is beautifully decorated with just about everything you could ever imagine you needed. The kitchen is well stocked, and the entire house was so clean. We enjoyed a 15 min easy walk to Harbor Beach, had a campfire, grilled some food, and even sat on the lovely farmers porch during a rainstorm. The king bed in the basement was cozy, but there was no egress, and it was musty (dehumidifier helped). There is a charge for extra people even though the listing states it accommodates more. I would stay here again, but probably with less people. We had a lovely time and were very comfortable.

A little bit of heaven

This house was excellent. We had never been to the Maine coast and were looking for a home to be our "base" as we explored. It was perfect. The house is cozy, comfortable and extremely well designed. Everything has high end designer touches and it is very well equipped. The beds are very comfortable. The owner was very responsive and helpful in every possible way. It's location is wonderful for exploring other areas and just a quick drive to the several York area beaches. Dinner on the deck included many visits from wildlife into the yard and the fire pit was wonderful. We would love to return to this house again. It was truly a little bit of heaven. The only draw back we found, there is no cable so the television is all streaming. Not a bad thing.

Pristine gorgeous coastal experienxe

This house is immaculate l, designed beautifully and the location is perfect for anything you could imagine for the coastal southern Maine experience!! We loved the open design of the house, the fire pit, soaking tub and outdoor shower and the beautiful porch! A close drive from long sands beach, a beautiful walk from short sands beach and very close drive to many other amazing activities like visiting Fort McClary and Ogunuit. This house allowed us to make the most of our stay with family and we honestly would love to book it again next summer!

The whole package!

The house is beautifully decorated. The yard is pristine. Amenities plenty. The location is quiet and very close to York Harbor beach. There is sidewalk available from the house to the beach. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Had the best time!

Quaint Location

The home is very well appointed with everything you need to be comfortable and feel at home. It has a back deck with barbecue and fire pit in the yard. Close to York beaches and in a very safe neighborhood.

Quaint, nicely decorated, amenities not accurately explained, long check out instructions

House was clean & nicely decorated. Had almost all the amenities we needed. However no access to washer/dryer that we thought was included unless we paid an addtnl fee for access code to locked room. We were originally given noon ck-out, then changed to 11am. Last night we were told to be out by 10am. Long list of check-out cleaning instructions even tho we paid a large cleaning fee. Disappointing. Lots of texts from owner during our stay, including showing up on the property during our stay.

The house was bright, clean and private. Two of the beds were "full size" and were not comfortable for two adults. There was an added charge of $100 for the use of the washer and dryer which was not listed in the amenities. Unpleasant neighbor with roaming dog.

Perfect Lodging Option in York
