The house is lovely and spacious, with lots of light and good couches and seating. 3 bathrooms for 4 bedrooms feels wonderful as well. And a good mix of sleeping, hang out and usable-for-work spaces if that's what you need (with great internet). Russ, the property manager, is pretty responsive when needed. Our family of 5 had a wonderful time.
It's pretty well maintained, and the furniture is all in great shape and plush. The ping pong table was surprisingly enjoyable :) And there are deer everywhere. For city folks, that's still exciting. And the deck grill is new, easy to use and large.
The area is wooded, and though it's dense with homes, there are trails and places to walk in nature, including a gorgeous creek with a bench near it about .5 mile from the house.
A few minor things, but they did not detract noticeably from our experience:
- a persnickety dishwasher that sometimes wouldnt open the soap dispenser during the cycle (just use powder instead of tabs and put on the floor of the machine)
- some outdoor chairs for the firepit would have been great (we brought the patio chairs down, it was just a bit of a hike)
- more "instruction" sheets for how to use things in the house. there's one for the TV system downstairs, which is great. Could have used one for the gas fireplace, the thermostat and the jacuzzi tub. an easy fix :) and I figured them out eventually.
Would absolutely stay here again.
